    Rock Jepsom has a reason to distrust the Hollywood types but his brother drags a movie crew to the ranch Rock runs without permission. Meeting Deborah, part of the cast and crew, has his thoughts going another direction all together. Will he stick to his guns and send them all packing or give what he feels for Deborah a chance?

    Starting out with a bit of distrust, Deborah and Rock find their mutual attraction is so much more. As we read along we find that they have a lot in common but - you will have to read HOT ALASKA NIGHTS to get more information on the family dynamics.

    Author Lucy Monroe gives her readers the feel of this world with descriptions that make you think you are there. Her characters are varied with personalities that are realistic, and not perfect, which to this reader means so much more than perfection. A flawed hero is so much more fun as you watch him find out that his heart is really there and it is OK to follow it.

    The romance heats up the pages which is exactly what readers expect from Ms. Monroe. I can't wait for more of her much awaited Northern Fire Series.

    It’s been years since I read a Lucy Monroe story. So, when I saw that she was looking for reviews of this title, I jumped at the chance. This is the second book in a series, but I couldn’t tell. This book completely stands on its own.

    This story follows Deborah, who is heading to Alaska to star in an indy film, and Rock, who has no love of the movie industry and owns a ranch in Alaska where the movie people want to film. There are immediate sparks between the two, and they soon fall into bed and eventually into love. Both characters have major family issues with their parents, which shaped them into who they are today. They both have some trust issues, control issues mostly stemming from disappointing relationships with their parents. It’s something they’re able to bond over, strengthening their relationship.

    The book takes place during the filming of a movie, albeit a small film. There’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff with the actors, producers, director. It’s a rather interesting setting. Throw in a character coming out of the closet, sexual harassment, parent abandonment, and a twist I didn’t see coming, and I was in for a roller coaster ride. And the cast of secondary characters rounded out the story.

    I enjoyed this trip to small-town Alaska and can’t wait to return. If you like small-town romance, millionaire romance, or just a spicy contemporary romance, you might want to give this one a try.

    I love Lucy Monroe’s writing. She has a gift. Hot Alaska Nights is awesome! The heat and love between Deborah and Rock set my kindle on fire. Ok. Not really. But, if it were possible, it would have.

    Hot Alaska Nights has heart melting love, sex that will make you all squirmy, and suspense that will keep you guessing. A perfect trifecta.

    If you’ve not read Lucy Monroe, you should. I’m addicted to her work and you will be too. Hot Alaska Nights can be read as a stand-alone. I highly recommend her work and this book!

    Hot Alaska Nights was scorching hot! Rock and Deborah were totally burning up from the moment they set eyes on one another and the fire kept burning strong with these two until the very end. They had some issues to work though before they could find their HEA and I seriously didn't think they'd make it but after some misunderstandings and hurt feelings, they were able to work things out. I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.

    I just finished this yesterday. While the storyline was good. I felt it was all over the place. I know everyone likes a sexy story but this was like way too much to fast.
    Also proofreaders failed in multiple spots. And some of the words she used I had no clue what they meant. Nothing like having to dig out a dictionary to look things up.
    I love Lucy's books mostly but I think more time should have been taken with this one.

    I love anything written by Lucy Monroe!!! This book is no different. The chemistry between the characters Rock and Deborah was electric from the beginning. I couldn't put this book down. Not only were the characters engaging, but the scenic descriptions of the Alaskan landscape puts you right there. I will definitely go back to reread book one. Thank you Lucy Monroe for giving us such a beautiful story!

    I loved this story. It takes place in Alaska of course. Deborah is an actress who is going to make a movie set in Alaska. There she meets Rock. Rock is a little on the grumpy side but he grows on you for sure. I love the chemistry between Rock and Deborah. There are supporting characters who make it intriguing and some suspense. Of course you have steamy love scenes to boot. This is a great story and I felt like I just visited Alaska.

    I honestly don’t understand all the rave reviews for this book. I couldn’t get past 25% and had to stop, which I really try hard not to do. Basically every character and their actions got on my last nerve. I’m so tired of all these books that have the H/H jumping into bed with no character or relationship development. More waste of money!
