Amazing Prequel to Her Billionaire series
Laura, Dylan and Mike finding out more of their stories is like a gift, one where the wrapping is as beautiful as the gift itself.
Having read the entire series this new book gives the emotional and psychological as they all deal with life changing circumstances that bring them to the point their coming together makes perfect sense.

Laura healing from a broken relationship with a man who made her the unsuspecting woman having a relationship with a married man. Then has the nerve to blame her for his weakness.
Mike and Dylan surviving the loss of their partner Jill. The woman who made them whole. Jill had her own secret that leaves the guys in turmoil. Now they’re billionaires thanks to a trust she left to them but bitter and hurt that the center of their world didn’t trust them enough.
Now I’m going back to read the series with a more appreciative mind. 😊

It all started with a dream, or two. This is the prequel to Her Billionaires series and it takes us to where Laura, Mike and Dylan are at in their lives well before meeting on the dating app. Laura has just ended her relationship with her boyfriend...yeah this girl doesn't date married men! Poor Dylan and Mike are still grieving after the death of their partner Jill to cancer. Imagine their shock and confusion when they find out what she left them. I loved the aspect of falling for someone you met in a dream...it happened to me when I was 17. Forty years later, I can still remember the dream and the 19 year old baseball player I met weeks later.
Thank you Julia for this wonderful book with characters I still love to go back and reread!

In Your Dreams is a prequel to the Her Billionaires series. It can be read as a standalone book, but it does leave you wanting more at the end.
Laura broke it off with her ex-boyfriend, who turns out to be a married man. She is feeling especially lonely and vulnerable. Her dreams have a new erotic twist with not one, but two, handsome men who cherish and adore her mind, body and soul.
At the same time, Mike and Dylan are trying to deal with the loss of Jill to cancer. The void in their triad seems to be all consuming. Not only that, but she left them billions in her will and they never knew she was an heiress. Why would she withhold that information when they were so close in every way possible. Both men are separately dreaming of a new luscious and curvy blonde they endlessly crave in a new triad. It has Dylan trying out a dating app, hoping for a brighter future. It has Mike angry and trying to run out his frustrations.
The men and Laura have a couple almost brushes in real life. The time isn't quite right though, and their actual meeting waits for Her Billionaires.

Basically, this is an introduction to the three main characters, Laura Michaels, Mike Pine, and Dylan Stanwyck. She's been having lust-filled dreams of not just one man, but two of them! I don't want to give too much of the story away, even if this is "only" the prequel novella. There's enough of a back story for each one of the MCs that has me not only curious but quite eager to find out more. The fact that I have a couple of the books, especially the first one in the series, already in my Kindle app is a bonus of sorts, and if I needed more incentive to get reading, then In Your Dreams was it! I'm giving it four stars.

Dreams may come true
Laura is having dreams about two guys loving her, and the guys are also having dreams about a blonde woman. The guys are roommates who shared their lives with a female who died, and now they are looking to find someone to replace her. Not really looking but they too are having dreams of a new female. One of the guys is a firefighter and he sees the lady at her office when he goes to do a safety check and the other sees her as she and her friend are walking down the street as he is going to mail the contract to buy the ski lodge where he works. Neither actually meets her though.

Book writing for Dummies
I liked the writing style with conversations that flowed easily , naturally and effortlessly droll either between characters or inside their head and the scenario moved along without feeling rushed. However, my opinion is that as a rule of thumb a book contains a story - otherwise it's a textbook - which has a beginning, middle and end. One out of three is insufficient so enjoyable though it was as far as it went, that's as far as it went. So time spent reading may not be completely wasted if something is learned . In this case I learned to be less trusting about what is presented as a book but fails on all counts.

Dreaming of love
I read the original of this book many years ago, and loved it then. This one added more to the previous copy. It includes so much more about the feelings that Laura, Dylan, and Mike felt before finally becoming a trio. The emotions were real, and the desire was real, for something that was meant to be. Julia Kent does an awesome job of writing everything in beautiful detail, and involves the reader throughout the entire story. I’ve read the whole series and always recommend all of the books written by Julia Kent.

I first read about Laura, Mike and Dylan, back in July 2015 and it was my very first read with a throuple in it - damn I wanted a Mike and Dylan!!!
6 years later and it was like I'd never been away from them, instantly I was able to connect with them, there was no questioning who's who or what's what, none of that! (Although I do want to start a complete re-read! 😁)
Anyway, back to In Your Dreams....this is the rewritten and extended prequel to Her Billionaires series - an absolute must read...
Laura has been unlucky in love, she's mid 20's, lives alone with her 3 cats and her dreams are being bombarded with sexiness overload with not one, bit two men!!
Then we have Mike, the extremely tall, handsome, quiet ski-instructor as well as Dylan, the smooth and sexy firefighter. They are still trying to overcome the grief of loosing their first love Jill.
An excellent insight to their individual lives 'before', it's cute, it's sexy, it's enlightening, it's honest and raw and I highly recommend it!!!

It's been a long time since Mike and Dylan have felt complete, the death of their thruple partner, Jill, taking more than just their hearts. Laura Michaels dumped her latest boyfriend when she found out he was married, and now this twenty something, woman with three cats and dead batteries in her vibrator is having the most vivid erotic dreams where four hands are whipping her into a frenzy of need and lust. When Dylan sees the voluptuous blonde beauty, he feels that there is something very familiar about her and realizes that she is the woman from his dream. He also thinks that just maybe he may have found that person to make him and Mike whole again. And this is the story of how Laura found her billionaires.

Whether you come at this story knowing everything that’s in store for Laura, Mike and Dylan or if you’re like me and have never indulged in this particular series from the author, there are lots of things to love about it. It’s told with the author’s signature heart and poignancy, as well as her sass and snark. Because several of her worlds intersect, I know some of what their future holds. Now, this book has given me an added push to start back at the beginning to see how they got there.

This book is a prequel to Julia kent's series Her Billionaires. I have already read the series and I love it. Not only the 3 main characters of our love triangle which are quite special but also the entire world Kent has built around this amazing story that has you laughing out loud and also crying from emotion.
It has been lovely revisiting Laura, Mike and Dylan and seeing how they actually found each other. I totally reccommend it!

Great Prologue – Definitely Makes me Want “The Rest”!!!!
We meet our main characters – in this case three of them. All are in a place of struggle or discontent. All are currently not in a relationship. All dream of a very special person.
We also see these characters start to “overlap” in real life.
The anticipation is “just right”. I’ll definitely be reading the books that follow!!

A booth call from her ex? Really? She's considering it? Yeah, I'd say that's pretty low.
Ugh, Dylan's a whiney baby- "it's not fair! She hit on me while I was running" (cause how dare she) 🙄
Two guys w/a dead girlfriend seeking a new one. One girl having hot fantasys of two guys, because apparently, she's hyperfixated on sex. Yeah, this came off as really whiney & annoying (the characters), & "why me/woah is me" type of way)

Laura, Mike, and Caleb’s sensual night time fantasies introduce sympathetic characters whose emotional pain had me hooked right from the start. I was amused by Laura’s best friend Josie, devastated by the emotional pain of the three main characters, and I’m excited to learn what happens next, especially after the outrageous profile Josie posts to Laura’s new dating app! Fingers crossed more steam ensues.

When I first starting reading "In Your Dreams" I realized that I missed Dylan, Mike and Laura and wondered what actually took place before they all met...how did Mike and Dylan feel after all they had been through with Jill.. What was Laura's life like before she met them? In reading this book I got the answers to my questions and so much more! This is the perfect prequel to the series featuring these 3 amazing people. It is eye opening, into their thoughts, dreams, anger, sadness, hurt and most of all grief. Laura's vivid dreams about not one but two faceless amazing men left her wanting more from her love life not what she had before, all the while realizing that there were two sets of hands touching her in her dreams not one and she wanted more! This book as I previously mentioned is the perfect beginning to what is to come. Laura, Mike and Dylan will find a spot in your heart and you will want to keep reading just to find out if they do get the love and happiness that they all so want and deserve. If you haven't read any of Julia Kent's books take a chance you will not be disappointed.

I have loved Laura, Dylan and Mike in the whole Her Billionaires series. It was a new experience reading this extended prequel, learning about their thoughts and emotions before they met and their story unfolded. How Dylan and Mike dealt with their grief in the aftermath of Jill's death is beautifully written in Julia Kent's typical style of sweetness an warmth. There is lightheartedness and gravity and her special touch of sass. The full steam factor told through Laura's dreams is delightfully new to me.
If you have read Laura, Mike and Dylan you will surely enjoy how their story begins. If you are new to the series, this is the perfect starting point. IF you are new to Julia Kent, just dive in. She simply has the magic touch!

Loved it 😍. Now time to re-read Her billionaires! Julia Kent NEVER disappoints with her books, whatever series, whatever genre. Her characters are always truly amazing and so distinct and appealing. I can't choose between Dylan and Mike, both show such beautiful emotions. So sad this book ended 😢 BUT on to the aforementioned book 🤩

Laura has broken up with her boyfriend after finding out he was married and is dreaming of two guys. Mike and Dylan are grieving over their girlfriend Jill. They have each been dreaming of a woman. The trio have had brushes but haven't met yet, which will happen in the next book. A prequel for the Her Billionaires book.

It was so nice to revisit these characters again in this extended Prequel. Dylan, Mike and Laura have such a dynamic together. Only Julia can tell their story in a way that can make you laugh one minute, cry and then break out laughing again. Once again we are shown that love is love.

This is a great prequel to the Her Billionaires Series. Laura, Mike and Dylan's story is captivating, full of lust, and sizzling chemistry. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. Their story is fun, emotional, and beautiful. I haven't read this series yet, but I would love to.

Laura keeps having the best dreams. The only problem is they are dreams. She has never met these guys in her life. Yet the dreams keep getting more frequent and real like. This give you a glimpse in Laura, Mike, and Dylan's life before they met.

It feels so strange going back to my very first JK book after so many years. The prequel to Laura, Mike, and Dylan’s story reminded me why I loved these characters so much. This book makes me want reread them all!

What a wonderful visit to one of my favorite Julia Kent series. Laura, Mike and Dylan were my first tip toe into Julia's world and I've never stopped since. This expanded and re-edited prequel is everything. Get into the minds of our heroes as they navigate their loss and their re-entry into a world they never expected. Laura has always been one of my favorite characters with a strange dichotomy of both a strong sense of self, but doubting herself and her decisions as well. If you've read the series previously, you already know how they come to be in a relationship but you've never really seen the thought process they all separately, yet together, went through. Add Josie to the mix and you get laughs along with the pain. Julia brings the heart, laughs and steam with this prequel that will no doubt make you want to read more.

It's good background on the characters if you wanted to know more. Reading it seven years after reading the series was confusing for me. I kept thinking, 'I know this story and these people.' Later I found the series in my Kindle library.
Julia Kent still has a gift for one-liners and dealing with characters in tough situations. The use of a pet cat or four to get the reader involved was a great plan.

The dreams everyone have are bit creepy as well as kinda romantic. I LOVE getting a further glimpse into Mike and Dylan’s broken hearts. And Laura is lucky to have a BFF like Josie! Thanks for another great story in this series, love them all!

A deliciously hot prequel to kick off the series! This was the quickest I've ever read a novella, and I immediately dove into the first book in the series afterwards. A great introduction to the characters, showing the many times their paths intertwined, but never at the right time.

Just a revisit to Laura, Mike and Dylan's story. It's always fun to refresh my memories. They just make me want to read their books all over again. It's still as fun and emotional as the first time I've read them.
