The Ivy Years Part Two Kindle Edition
Part Two of The Ivy Years Collection contains two full-length novels:
The Shameless Hour (Ivy Years #4)
The Fifteenth Minute (Ivy Years #5)
The Shameless Hour
You met Bella in The Understatement of the Year. She was in love with hockey players in general and one very unavailable defenseman in particular. Could it be that Bella finds love on a different field of play? Her neighbor Rafe is everything she's not. Bella isn't looking for a hero, and he's not looking for a hookup. Do they have anything in common besides one unexpected night of passion?
The Fifteenth Minute
Just because Bella's neighbor is a movie star doesn't mean she's happy. Lianne Challice is the girl nobody takes the time to get to know. Except for D.J. Trevi, the troubled brother of the hockey team captain. Their lives are messier than a hockey brawl. But together they just might find what they need.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe Ivy Years series is my favourite series I read in 2020.
I read all books back to back and I loved them all.
Sarina Bowen is an amazing author and I'm so happy I discovered her books a few years ago!
The Shameless Hour is about Bella and Rafe.
Bella is the student manager of the Harkness men's hockey team and she is not ashamed of enjoying sex until a nasty fraternity stunt make her loss her job and feel ashamed and hide in het dorm room.
Rafe was a virgin when he had a one night stand while being drunk with Bella and he feels bad about it but he's also very attracted to Bella and he wish to try and have a real relationship but it's going to br hard for him to convince Bella that he truly is interested in her.
Sarina deals with a very hard and real life topic of slut shaming , she did a great job eith Bella's character and I love how Rafe was a totally different kind to of a hero.
I really enjoyed reading about them !
The Fifteenth Minute is about Lianne and DJ. We met Lianne in The Shameless Hour and she proved to be a true friend to Bella so I was happy she got her own book.
Again Sarina Bowen isn't afraid of dealing with real like hard topics but I would let you read the book to discover it.
My heart was breaking for DJ and everything he had to deal with.
From the outside it seems like Lianne has a perfect life but not everything is as it seems and money doesn't make you happy.
DJ and Lianne find and help one another and discover they have true feelings .
It was a very emotional read and I really enjoyed it !
- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseNot a traditional hockey romance…. But I love the story. It is realistic and it does make you think outside the box. I enjoyed every moment.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2016Format: KindleThe Shameless Hour and The Fifteenth Minute are among my most favorite books! Here are my reviews on them:
The Shameless Hour:
This series has sucked me in. I just can't stop reading Sarina Bowen.
The Shameless Hour was so emotional for me. I just...FELT everything.
Bella is a happy go lucky, sexy college girl. She doesn't do relationships. But she is very comfortable with the idea of casual sex.
Rafe, on the other hand, is a virgin. He was brought up to be respectful and responsible. But at 20 years old, he is ready to take the next step with his girlfriend. This is a unique spin on things. I'm used to the hero being a big manwhore that stumbles on the one girl in college that is a virgin and reforms himself. BUT that is not the case in The Shameless Hour. Quite the opposite!
And Jesocristo, is Rafe sexy!!! Dios mio!!! (I loved all the Spanish)
I don't even know how to review this book without spoiling anything. I went in blind and I'm so glad I did.
This book made me laugh, squirm, lust. It made my stomach drop, my heart crawl up into my throat, my tears fall down my face uncontrollably. I wanted to crawl into the book and comfort Bella, hug Rafe and beat the ever loving crap out of the fraternity members.
I love that Sarina Bowen takes real life situations and makes you look at them. Makes you feel them. Makes you open your eyes to some ugly sides of life. She took my heart, tore it to shreds, and put it back together again.
I just love Bella and Rafe. This book will stick with me for a long time.
Bottom line: highly recommend. Please read this book. Please start at the beginning of the series.
The Fifteenth Minute:
Sarina Bowen is one of my "drop everything" authors. I will always drop everything to read her latest book!!!
I LOVED so much about this book!
~Lianne - What a great female lead!!! Yes, she's a successful, wealthy, gorgeous movie star. BUT she's also socially awkward, self conscious, and she really just wants to find her place in the world, just like a regular person. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to relate to this character, but I was so, SO wrong. I loved that she was a gamer!
~ DJ - he really stole my heart. I couldn't believe what this boy was going through. He was being put through the ringer, with his future hanging by a thread and he was trying to deal the best way possible. And in this mess, he meets Lianne and they connect.
~ Alternating POV - my favorite!
~ The writing. I am blown away each and every time by Sarina Bowen. I love that she pulls these huge, impacting, ugly issues out in the open. And makes you look at them. And consider them. And realize that these things happen. But she does it in a way that also brings light, fun and sexy into the story so that it isn't too painful. It's an ENJOYABLE read. But because you see what the characters go through, you feel this...BOND with them. Ugh. I am not a writer, so forgive my inability to express just how talented I think she is.
~ Chemistry - WHEW!! I love the chemistry between Lianne and DJ.
~ The gang. Yes, this could be read as a stand alone. But why the heck would you want to miss out on all the fantastic books that came before it???? I love that we get so much of Bella and Graham and some new characters too. I NEED a book for Georgia and Trevi AND Hosanna needs a book too.
My highlights:
"And all at once, I understand that Lianne does not, in fact, exist on some higher plan. Celebrity or not, she feels the sting of rejection the same way anyone would. Even if it comes from the likes of me."
"DJ is a different brand of sexy. And it's a brand I like a lot.
I could be a very loyal customer of his brand."
"Happiness is being wrapped into a kiss."
"Is it because I'm socially awkward? Is it because I'm fun sized?"
"Then he kisses me as if he's just invented kissing and wants to give me a thorough demonstration of how it's done."
"This is how it feels to get just what you need when you didn't even know you needed it."
Bottom line: super awesome favorite book. Read it. One click now!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sexual Assault
