Kyler and Danielle’s story is absolutely heartbreaking. I mean grab a bottle of wine and tissues heartbreaking. Danielle’s story of overcoming her grief is absolutely amazing to read. I loved Stefanie’s debut novel, even though at times I wanted to scream at her in frustration....how could she put Dani through all that pain. Dani has such a hard time dealing with Emmett’s death that she does the one thing no sees coming, she leaves. In her desperation to escape the pain she leaves everything behind, her family, her best friend, the memories, and Emmett. Dani stays gone for years, then suddenly out of the blue she calls her brother. She’s ready to come home, what she isn’t ready for is all the changes that have happened while she was gone. The changes terrify her but none more than her brother’s new best friend, Kyler. Kyler makes her feels things that she thought were buried right beside Emmett. It scares her to no end. Over time she begins to heal but is constantly questioning if this is real, she can’t love someone else ever again. Emmett was her world and then he was ripped away from her, how can she put herself through that again?
My favorite part of this book is a conversation that happens between Hailey (Emmett’s Sister, Her Best Friend) and it sums up Dani perfectly. “To make a decision of living your life. You only get one, and how amazing is it that in that one life you get two great men who love you when most people don’t even get one.”
This book is worth the read...loved it and can’t wait for her next release.

So first I just want to make a remark to the introduction of this book"You Will survive and you will find purpose in the chaos. Moving on doesn't mean letting go"-Mary Vanhaute. So what a way to start a book, I knew this book was going to be emotional but it was also so very beautiful. Stefanie Jenkins" release book was just a soul touching experience for me, she takes us through the story Dani, how she found the love of her Emmet life at a very young age and everything seems so wonderful until tragedy strikes and she is unable to move on, she decides to leave everything behind and tries to keep living without actually feeling alive. Until after four years later she finally has the courage to face the life she left behind. Thats when we met Kyler, and he actually helps Dani heal her broken heart. He is such an awesome amazing character, I honestly just want to hug him plus he is hot, caring, lovable and understanding of Dani's situation and he knows that to win Dani's heart he needs to work hard in order help her live a full life again and not just existing . This book is about second chances, not just for Dani but for her brother Zach, her best friend Haylee and her parents. This book is about healing your heart and to learn how to move on, to learn how to survive a great lost and to remember that that person you lost will forever live on in your heart.
