About the authors
A fan of all things fantastical and frightening, Shannon Lawrence writes in her dungeon when her minions will allow, often accompanied by her familiar, Cleo. She writes primarily horror, fantasy, and mystery, but dabbles all over. Her stories can be found in anthologies and magazines, as well as in her short story collections. In addition, her nonfiction book "The Business of Short Stories" is now available, and her debut novel, "Myth Stalker: Wendigo Nights," releases March 2024. She's the co-host of a true crime podcast: Mysteries, Monsters, & Mayhem. When she's not writing, she's hiking through the wilds of Colorado and photographing her magnificent surroundings.
Though she's lived in Colorado for most of her life, she moved around a bit before settling there, previously living in Maryland, Oregon, and California, where she was born. She often misses the ocean, but the majestic and rugged Rockies are a sight she could never part with. Besides, in Colorado there's always a place to hide a body or birth a monster. What more could she ask for?
Tim is an Associate Member of both the SFWA and the HWA. He has sold genre short stories to publications across the US, UK, and Canada. His work has been published by the British Science Fiction Association (BSFA). His story "Face Thieves" took first place in Page Turner Magazine's 2021 flash fiction contest. He is an amateur juggler.
Carlton Herzog publishes supernatural horror, science fiction and crime stories, as well as non-ficiton. His fiction portrays characters who are outsiders to ordinary life. Filled with strange terrors and brutal absurdities, his writing bends reality until it cracks. He is a USAF veteran with B.A. magna cum laude and J.D. from Rutgers. He served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Review.
He had this to say about writing: “Writing is to the mind what exercise is to the body. I love the process from start to finish. Editorial acceptance, monetary remuneration, and public approval are nothing when compared with the irreplaceable feeling of personal accomplishment. Writing is a stroll through the insubstantial country of my mind. A land where I can see reflections of myself that are more me than anything I can find in a mirror or the eyes of others. it is an introcosm where I am truly free to see what I have done and yet may do, home to all my disappointments and discoveries, rememberings and reveries."

- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2022I IS FOR INTERNET BY VARIOUS AUTHORS AND NARRATED BY SHANNON WHITE AND D.C. HILL LAWRENCE is book 9 in the A-Z of HORROR series. I found most of the stories well worth the listen and some not so much. All in all, it's a pretty good edition to the A-Z HORROR series and I do hope I can listen to more in the future.
Each of the stories in I IS FOR INTERNET, focus on the online cyber world. From stalkers to demons to just plain weirdness, this book of stories has it all and might make one a little hesitant to log on in the future!!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2021Interesting stories if you love horror, not too many troupes and few grammatical errors. Give a read if it peaks your fancy.
