Interpretation (Lost in Translation Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 19 ratings

Dorran is finally getting over finding a dead body, getting shot, and having to share his apartment with a ghost. So of course, things start going wonky. Dorran and Eli’s relationship hits a rough patch when Eli refused to let Dorran see his apartment, Francis the ghost is getting cheekier and stronger, and even worse, Dorran’s brother is arrested for killing his pregnant girlfriend. Dorran has no intention of sticking his nose into the investigation—except that’s exactly what he ends up doing.

The sheriff in charge of the investigation has already pegged Chris as guilty, and he’s not going to look any further, so it’s not Dorran’s fault if he has to do the man’s job for him, right? With a recalcitrant Eli and some help from Francis, Dorran starts looking for the real murderer. What’s the sheriff hiding? And what on earth is happening with Francis suddenly being visible?

Chris’ life is in danger, and Dorran isn’t going to let his brother pay for a crime he didn’t commit.

Catherine is the creator of several series, most of them paranormal, including the Whitedell Pride Series and the Gillham Pack Series. While she graduated in translation, she decided to go the writer’s way because it was more fun to create her own stories and characters.

She’s been living in Italy for more than twenty years, but she’s a daughter of the North—Belgium to be precise—and she misses it so much that she’s already planning to move back.

She loves pizza—probably too much —her pets, and of course, books. She sneaks some reading time in her schedule every time she has five minutes free from writing, demands from her various pets and son, and lastly, housework.

What can destroy a new relationship ? How about secrets ! Can secrets kept for what one thinks is a good reasons ever be good ! When things start coming to light will their still be a future to try and save? More strange things keep happening in Dorran apartment ! Why can't t they ever hang out at Elijah apartment? I loved it, a great combination of romance and mystery ! Easy to get into the story ! No one is perfect and Dorran and Elijah are not perfect. What happens when one come to see the consequences of earlier choses that they made.

A good story running through but Dorrian was a bit of a brat. Having been given a big clue very early on he missed it, he had no faith in Eli at the start and I think possibly Eli deserves someone better. Despite being told Dorrian is the romantic in the relationship it seems that Eli is the affectionate one. The next book is longer and a bit better value for money. I hope the relationship gets on track.
