The author went above and beyond for this storyline. The twists and surprises do not stop, even in the ending. Autumn and Dalian meet when she goes to the Bahamas on her honeymoon, minus her groom who stood her up at the altar. Her best friend Nadia is there to keep her going. Ten years later, they reconnect there, with a little extra. Nadia and David are also a huge part of the story. The parents are another whole story all together. The action and twists will not let you put the book down, and it is surprising how many directions this story goes before it is all done. Loved the variety of situations and how they were handled, even some past trauma closure. Very well done.

Amazing read, I didn't want to put it down. The story moved along smoothly even with all the bumps along the way. The authors handle the unsavory fathers well, as well as other discriminations.
A story always ends best with a HEA as this one did. I'll be looking for other works from these authors.

Autumn was left at the altar and takes a trip that changes her life. She meets Ian and has a one night stand and then later she learns she is pregnant. Now ten years later she is back and runs into Ian. The chemistry is still there and she must now tell him that they have a child.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Autumn and Dalian meet while she is on what was supposed to be her honeymoon. They have an incredible chemistry which led to an unforgettable night together. They both gave nicknames and were never able to track the other down. Years later they are brought back together by fate. There is more to their story than he knew. Both characters deserved a second chance at happiness. Now they can have that happy future as a family.

"Island Heir" by S. I. Hayes

My Speculation:

"IslandHeir" was quite an entertaining read with some very intriguing characters that will grip your attention till the end, primarily as the story deals with Autumn Elizabeth Ashley [Beth] and Dalian Emeterio. I love how they met and were brought together once again that produces [ten years later] a son is introduced to his father. I enjoyed the best friend of Beth...Nadia Havarti. To have a BFF, like Nadia, was something in this day and age.

Be prepared for lots of drama with emotions that will lead to some unforeseen twists and turns as you are traveling through the read. Be ready for some hot detailed spicy, sex scenes as only these two authors can give so well to their readers.

This story not only followed the budding relationship of Autumn and Dalian after ten years apart, but it also told the story of Nadia and David, and all the turmoil that unfolded with the two women’s families. There was a lot to unpack in this book, but the storyline was fast-paced and kept me intrigued and reading whenever I had a moment to escape to my reading nook.
