Jack Whitfield is more than on the road again with another exciting mystery thriller. It is never all win. Soo many obstacles of real danger and this time his new partner, Natasha, is not only faithful to Jack’s mission. She appears to have one of her own which both Jack & Natasha race into a dynamic last encounter you won’ believe — UNTIL YOU READ THIS EXCITING “MYSTERY THRILLER”. (Maybe not just before bedtime!)

Why do some people think it is ok to rule over others? Is it power, money, or just a sick perversion to be a king? This is a really good story and I enjoyed it immensely. Jack Whitfield seems like the kind of person who is awkwardly trying to save the world. Like he feels he is out of his element, but knows he has to persevere. He delves into his past and draws the wherewithal to stop what has happened to him from happening to others. Can he stop these people once and for all? A gripping series that needs to be read.

I have read every one of John's books. Without a doubt, this is the finest book he has ever written. The other books have it all. Tight plot, realistic characters and locations, everything a good book should have. So, if you really enjoy a thriller that keeps you awake all night just to find out what happens next, you just cannot go wrong with anything written by Mr. Mefford. And the Curator is a classic example of what an excellent book should be. So take my advice: Buy. This. Book. Do it now... you will not regret it.

Another action packed thriller by John Mefford! Jackie Whitfield and Natasha are on the hunt for who helped make him an assassin. Their journey takes them back to Tennessee then to Prague then to France. On this journey, he finds out the leader of his handler plans to take over the world by controlling all world communications. A read you won’t want to put down.

Jack and Natasha continue running and continue seeking answers to Jack’s past.

Su appears, on a mission of her own, while people who might have answers keep dying.

Jack and Natasha are still pursuing the the threads left of the KIRO organization that has plagued Jack Whitfield for most of his adult life. He's been trained covertly to act as an assassin and Jack is slowly becoming more aware of the things he's done. Now Jack and Natasha have set about trying to correct those acts. This trail leads him to a bookstore in Prague and the bookstore owner and his assistant is not who he seems to be. Jack also once again crosses paths with one of his college trainers who was instrumental in brainwashing Jack while in college and competing in his chosen event, the decathlon. Now years later, Jack and Natasha strive to extract information from his trainer, which doesn't bear fruit.

His next attempt at gathering info sees our intrepid duo traveling to Tennessee to speak with his old track coach from college. While there is no direct knowledge to be gleaned, Jack and Natasha are able to gather a great of facts that will help a great deal in the long run. This information sends our duo back to Europe to once again seek the link between the bookstore owner and the clerk and the curator and what he/they have planned. In the end, Jack and Natasha are able to finally make the connection between the bookstore owner/The Curator/Ares and the ultimate plan that is to hatched on New Year's Eve and Day. Don't worry-there be no spoiler here. You're going to have to read this book and bite your nails all the way through it just like I did.

At the end of the previous story, Jack and Nicole had begun the hunt for the mastermind responsible for his being groomed into an assassin through the creation of an alternate personality. With Nicole at his side, we again find Jack in the middle of a massive plot to take over the world orchestrated by a madman with a massive following named KIRO. The entire time Jack is on the hunt, he is aware that this is the cult that holds the key command that calls him forward to do its bidding and that he cannot control. With more twists and turns and ups and downs than even the last story, The Last Disciple, Jack and Nicole incredibly purse clue after clue head on to stop the plot and save Jack’s life. As KIRO assassin after assassin fall when their attempts to kill Jack and Nicole fail, they are plunged deeper and deeper into the conspiracy. Many loose ends from previous stories are completed in this, what appears to be, the final novel in their adventure, until you reach the last paragraphs. Of course I am really looking forward to the next in the fantastic series. Highly recommend that these books be read in order so that you can track the “story of Jack” as he unbelievably progresses from small town CPA to superspy.
