Amazon #1 Bestselling Author and a Readers' Favorite Gold Medal winner.

A veteran of the corporate rat-race, John W. Mefford never realized he was mentally documenting every experience of his professional journey—not until he started his first novel during a so-called "corporate timeout."

A voracious reader of mystery-thrillers since before he could shave, John enjoys weaving a twisty tale that keeps readers riveted until the last page. He's also learned he's pretty good at embellishing. Just don't tell his fourth-grade teacher.

I have been reading John's books with great pleasure almost from his first book. I am amazed that each and every one of them is better than the last. Characters you feel you have known for years. Locations described so well you feel you have been there. The action is non stop, and guaranteed to keep you turning pages long into the night. I probably could go on forever, but then I would keep you from scrolling up and pushing the buy button. Go ahead... I know you want to. Do it! You can thank me later.

This is another action packed addition to the Jack Whitfield series. It’s fast paced and there’s plenty of mystery and suspense. Twists and turns around every corner. A great read for thriller fans! *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

Mefford has a knack for building tension in his readers. One fast paced scene after another. They don’t seem to stop, and just when you think they will he manages to wind the reader up one more time. Couple the tension with well developed characters and relationships and you get a well put together novel. If you like action and a lot of it you will enjoy Medford’s work as well as his characters. I Don’t think you can go wrong.

This was one fast-moving thriller. Very surprised at the climax and ending. I wanted MORE.

Another high-speed, high adrenaline world tour of sneaky dealings and murder at a fever pitch - yet human self-interest, self-absorption and greed form the dark foundation of all this bad behavior.

Incredible 2nd (actually the 5th) book in this new series. This author writes very complex thrillers, with many, many subplots going at the same time. Jack Whitfield is the main character and in this new novel, he has now been joined by all of his former partners he met and worked with in the previous adventures. CLASS is the name of the sub-organization within Interpol that they all work for, and, by combining their individual skills, CLASS applies the team to search out and, hopefully, resolve worldwide crimes and criminals and the masterminds who run them, whether they be individuals, corporations, or countries. This time, the team is on a mission, but are broken up when Jack and Su are sent to China again, this time to search out a terrorist, on the watch list for all countries who specializes in bombings for hire. They are searching not only for him, they are after his employers, his targets, and his associates. The twists and turns are a roller-coaster ride, and just when the team finds a clue and can take a breathe, they are blind-sided and almost killed by even more criminals and criminal organizations. I highly recommend this dynamic series and am looking forward to the next in the series which, of course, is introduced in the final paragraphs.

How do you protect the targets of the Chinese government while also trying to predict where the world's most insidious bomber's next target will be? Your work is cut out for when you work for T-CLASS and Interpol and are tasked with near impossible missions. Jack Whitfield and his team are looking for an illusive international bomber who is killing Chinese nurses and Jack's teammate's (Su) sister, Mei is deeply involved. But Mei is not forthcoming with critical information that could have life-changing effects on many people. How to get that information and how to save many lives. The outcomes are devastating for several key figures.

The Jack Whitfield story has been non-stop action since the beginning and that continues through this next global romp with Jack and his team.
Jack is now in charge of a team known as CLASS whose mission is to track terrorists on a world wide basis. There are multiple subplots which makes it necessary to keep track of numerous characters (some familiar, some new) in this complex global tale. Mr. Mefford writes in a realistically narrative style producing a plot driven by the actions and dialog of the characters. The series should be read from the beginning to completely understand the backstory.

I received an ARC of this book. I am voluntarily reviewing it because I genuinely enjoyed and highly recommend it.
