Jackson was my most anticipated read of The Rydeville Elite Series, and to say it did not disappoint is an understatement of the century. Jackson had many faces in this story. There were times he was so sickly sweet I got a cavity. He was what romance movies were made of. He was at arrogant and cocky with a filthy mouth that made me swoon so hard I was utterly speechless. A more sinister side revealed itself that had me cussing like a sailor. He was cruel and heartless. So cold he put the most sinister people to shame. Was he the same funny Jackson we all know and love, absolutely! This just highlights all his deeper then skin and impeccable facade. Vanessa she was sweet, kind and had the biggest heart, the most haunting past and the most stellar personality. I’m used to more sassy from Siobhan female characters so I found her to be a breathe of fresh air with how beautifully passionate she was. I loved her fight! Probably one of my most favorite female characters! I loved the rectification of these two reckless souls as they fell passionately for one another! Now to get into those feelings. First off, my heart? Yeah, it beats differently now. Lies, vengeance, dark secrets and twisted fates. Pain lashes at my heart with every anguish word that spilled off the pages. This story holds a extra dark element that we crave as dark romance lovers. I physically felt this story. And in true Siobhan Davis fashion I didn’t see half the twist and turns coming. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the sheer shock this series brings. It always unexpected, unpredictability, and down right mind blowing! Is this hands down my favorite Siobhan Davis book? Heck yes! Do I say this about every one of her books? Absolutely! She continues to strive as an author upping her game with each release, but I will say this book hold me hostage. I loved it. I die for it. I craved it before I knew what kind of addiction it was! Blessed to receive an ARC!

      Oh!! Heck Yes!! This book, my friends!! This AMAZINGLY PHENOMENAL Book was exactly what I thought it would be and then some. I knew Siobhan was gonna slay Jackson’s book. TBH I have been salivating for him since day.freakin.one when I met him back in Cruel Intentions. I am mentally spent after this book, though in the best way. This is the best kind of book hangover, y’all! I laughed, I cried, I swooned and I swore. It was a marathon of emotions. One that I would gladly run again and again. (I tend to do re-reads of the Rydeville Elite Series b/c It’s so dang addictive)

      Jackson’s character is legit everything I knew he was gonna be multiplied by 1000! From the beginning he had a mission, a goal and nothing was gonna deter him from that. He was ruthless, a jerk, gorgeously hot, but he was also caring as well. He has a big heart, he just tries to hide that fact. We’ve all loved the playful playboy since day one, but here we get to see a different side with this more adult version of Jackson. I think we all knew it was gonna take one heck of a girl to bring that boy to his knees and Vanessa “Nessa” sure is the one to do it.

      She was smokin hot, sweet, but she was so strong. The resilience in this character, y’all. It makes me tear up just thinking about it. In many ways she was broken, but not beyond repair. The strength she showed about how rise from the ashes was inspiring. My heart broke over and over again. I wanted for her to get everything good in this world and I wanted Jackson to give it to her. But I wasn’t sure if it was possible, they had so much working against them.

      Now, with that said… Their journey was by no means an easy one. But it was a tragically beautiful one. Their connection was spectacular and off the charts of the “meant to be scale.” I felt like she brought out the best parts of Jackson, and he was able to give her all the things she was missing in her life. Not necessarily just monetary things but the things that truly matter. GAH! This story gutted me, before it put me back together. But I loved every single second.That’s not to say I didn’t have several moments of wanting to bash my kindle over the heads of several characters at many different times. But... I was obsessed with every word on every page, from start to finish! It.was.that.fantastic!!
      Nessa and Jackson’s story is one for the books and MUST not be missed!

      When I finished reading Charlie, I couldn’t wait for Jackson to appear in my kindle. Once it did, I was ready to devour it. All of Siobhan’s books hook me. I’ve only read her Rydeville series but am planning to read a couple of her other ones now.

      Before I get into the synopsis of the book, I have to say how much I loved Jackson and Vanessa. Their vulnerabilities and inner turmoils ran deep. Jackson is such an onion of a character and I loved seeing his layers being peeled back. We’ve seen how troubled he’s been for many books now... so I was so glad he got his own book. And Vanesa- man is she a model of strength... I just wanted to hug her so many times!

      So we get a prologue of what Vanessa has had to endure throughout her life. Her stepfather kicks her out and she is basically left to fend for herself. She gets a job, rents an apartment and leaves her old life behind. We find out how gross and cruel her stepfather has been to her for years and she will do anything to protect her younger sister from suffering at his hands. But she’ll just need to figure out how.

      Fast forward to 11 months later when Jackson finds out where she’s been and makes an appearance in her life again with the help of Sawyer. He wants to avenge the death of his sister Dani and he knows that it was Christian Montgomery that drove her to commit suicide because he kidnapped her and did other horrible things to her (along with others). And Vanessa is his daughter. He plans to make her fall in love with him to get information out of her and then end their relationship once he gets what he wants. But things don’t turn out as he has planned and not everything is black and white...

      Meanwhile, other things are going on with the Elite and the new president that is taking over. There are so many intricate pieces and so many moving parts. Although it’s not completely necessary to read books 1-3, it will make more sense if you read those first so you don’t find yourself being confused.

      I loved this book from beginning to end and man did I cry at the ending... so many tragedies and so many battles to still win... I can’t wait to read Sawyer. I’m glad we got a little snippet at the end... which means I already pre-ordered the book lol. Hopefully it comes sooner... 11 months is too long.

      Now I need to read more of Shioban Davis. I love her books!!

      Pretty good story. A little wordy in some chapters and the constant repeat of danger/kidnapping is a little over -played.

      The story begins with the FMC Vanessa who hails from a sick and twisted family. Her disgusting and morally corrupt stepfather throwing her out of his house to fend for herself. He’s crazy wealthy but gives her practically nothing and this happens with no warning. Her mother is a drunk who has never protected her own daughter against the monster she married. Her “parents” have twins a boy & girl and that’s who Vanessa loves and swears to protect. Especially her younger sister, her stepfather is a true threat.
      Vanessa was severely abused in the worst way possible growing up but couldn’t say anything. So she turned to drugs, alcohol abuse and promiscuity to numb the pain of what she suffered at home.

      Jackson is the MFC and he’s gorgeous. He and Vanessa used to run in the same social circles thanks to their families being friends. He never liked Vanessa. Thought of her as a loose drunk cannon that was annoying and someone his friends and him would make fun of and try to get away from. No one ever protected this poor girl.

      She moves to NYC, works as a waitress and got herself cleaned up off drugs & alcohol.       I have to be honest, i have loved the Rydeville series so far, the first three books were amazing and i loved Abby and Kai, i didn't think Siobhan could better them, i then read Charlie's story which was also very good.....however it was Jackson's story that i wanted to read the most and it was the one i was most nervous to read because i didn't want to be disappointed,........... i have to say Siobhan you have done him justice!!!
      I loved it so much, to see Jackson's other sides, he was always the joker of the pack, so it was refreshing to see him in a different light, with him being more serious at times (even if i did want to slap him silly!) Of course he had a worthy heroine in Vanessa, another strong female lead character which i absolutely love. This story does have dark elements but it all adds to Jackson's story and still feeds in to the previous four books. I cant wait now for Sawyer's book, i really need to know that they all get their HEA, because the characters in these books are amazing!! Thank you so much Siobhan.
      If you enjoy books that pull at your heart strings, stories that are a little more twisted and darker than normal and characters that stay with you long after you have finished reading then you really need to read Siobhan's books..........Amazing!! Highly recommend.

Ich konnte nicht aufhören zu lesen und war deshalb leider in Höchstgeschwindigkeit durch. Alle anderen habe ich auch schon längst durch. Bitte mehr von diesen Geschichten. Die Story mit ihren Wendungen und Unvorhersehbarkeiten, einfach mega, und dazu dieser gorgeous Boy ;-).

      Nessa and Jackson have both had…difficult pasts. They’re handling it differently though. Nessa is trying to move forward on her own two feet. Jackson’s desperation for vengeance for his sister has left him stuck.

      Jackson shows how hate can turn a person into something ugly. I’ll be honest - at one point I didn’t want Nessa to end up with him. Nessa is probably one of the strongest female characters I’ve read. Despite her own traumas she’s able to support people around her.

      I love how the books tie in with Siobhan’s Kennedy series. The world she has created is so rich - I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to grow.

      Ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt. Kann schon sein, dass meine Beziehung zu den Charakteren mich mehr in die Geschichte involvieren. Aber ich fand diese Geschichte einfach besser erzählt, ausführlicher, realistischer und spannender. Ich kann Sawyers Geschichte kaum erwarten.
