Kester R. Park is a prolific author whose work spans the realms of fantasy, horror, and science fiction. With one published novel and eight short stories featured across four anthologies, his writing delves into themes such as feminism and environmentalism. Through his stories, he seeks to challenge societal norms and critique the misuse of power.
This summer, Kester proudly presents his debut novel, Glassworld: Out of the Darkness, to a diverse audience. This gripping tale examines the cost of power and highlights the importance of imagination and resilience in the face of oppression. With this novel, he aims to engage readers with a thought-provoking story that underscores his commitment to ecology and social justice.
When he isn't writing, Kester teaches English as a foreign language to children and volunteers as an editor and translator for Kiva, a non-profit organisation dedicated to alleviating poverty through micro-lending. An avid reader, he enjoys exploring poetry and the history of philosophy.
Originally from the rural west of Scotland, Kester now lives in the Andean region of Ecuador with his wife and daughter.
