    I truly love this series. I reread the books and re-listen to the audio books often. I’m enjoying the character development and glad we’re starting to get into some spicy bits. Nolan, Donovan, and Felix will forever be my favorites ❤️. The only down side is that it takes so long for the next book to come out. But life happens… and I’d rather have quality over speed.

    It was nice catching up with Callie and her crew. I thought it was short and sweet. It would have been nice to see more action. I hope the series can finally move forward and explore some more action scenes. The last 2 books seemed to focus on Callie’s relationship with the boys or Nolan’s curse. Id love to see her use her magic to kick ass and the boys fight some bad guys. Regardless i still enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one.

    I felt like the story was mostly focused around Nolan and Felix/James, which I enjoyed reading since they're probably my favorite characters.

    Nolan is dealing with a fatal illness. In the previous book, we learn that his grandmother is a physician who might be able to help Mildred (Callie's grandmother) with the cure. So, we get to see how Nolan and everyone else around him deal with his grave situation.

    We also got to see Felix/James juggling two lives. It seems as if he is slowing getting the hang of it. We got to know a few things about him which I am really curious about how it will work in the story. I am hoping something happens between him and Dave. Dave seems like a nice guy and apparently he is good looking too. So, why not? I also wouldn't mind if something happens between Felix and Nolan. I don't know why Nolan is hiding his history with James though.
    I am not really a fan of preexisting MM relationship in books, because it feels like it overshadows the MF relationship. Although, I don't mind when new MM relationships are built alongside the MF. Then, it feels equal. Maybe, that's why I don't care much about Donovan and Nolan's relationship. There was this scene where Nolan implied that he much prefers that Donovan doesn't treat him like he is fragile, even though he was very weak. But, Callie does. I felt like he should've spoken to her about it and not Donovan. Whatever..... On the other hand, I would love if something happens between Nolan and Felix/James or Felix/James with Dave or both 🙂😉

    Anyways, other than that ...... We see Connor coming to terms with his mother's return. Kaleb dealing with his jealously regarding the other guys and his feelings for Callie. Donovan is haunted with his moments from unaliving Nolan's sister.

    I loved all the parents/grandparents we met in this book (except obviously the villains) ..
    Mr. Mischief!!! I am so curious about him. Is he a known character? Do we know him? Or, is this a new character?

    I am so excited for the next book!
