    Maybe not my favorite but still a sweet story. Ryan does not have much confidence in himself, this was clear in the last book but abundantly clear now (obviously) in this one. His 4 men (originally bosses) take a chance on him and hire him as an executive assistant, during which time they get to know each other before the relationship unfolds. I unfortunately didn’t really feel any connection between Ryan and his alphas when they sprung their desires on him, it came out of left field for me. But it was still really sweet as they helped him work though his self confidence issues and realize that he is worthy and confident.

    Poor Ryan has some serious self-esteem issues to work through. Thanks to his cousin Owen, he’d survived high school, but he’d never been able to get over his failures. But then he starts working for a wonderful group of alphas who have it in themselves to love Ryan as he deserves… if he’ll let them.

    I loved these alphas and how they worked hard to build up their omega. The dynamic with Owen is a little weird somehow, but it’s refreshing to see someone so firmly in his corner.

    All of his previous employers think that omega Ryan is the perfect executive assistant, he’s efficient and intelligent. Unfortunately, he always loses confidence in himself and ends up quitting. In his latest role, Ryan answers to four alpha bosses. They are equally impressed with him and the feeling is more than mutual. Deciding to intervene before Ryan quits, they invite him to be the omega of their group.

    Each book in this MPREG series follows the same strict format, if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all. Brief social interactions between the omega and each of the alphas are showcased before they have a steamy group bonding session, followed by the pregnancy and birth. There’s detail in the situations (here we get a lot about Ryan’s job and the company) and the sex, but not in the relationships and there are no dates, so the romance seems rushed and underdeveloped and any speed bumps are minimal. They’re sweet, happy stories but not that satisfying. Richard Pendragon narrates the audios well.
