- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2020Format: KindleI’m just going to keep my review short and sweet for this one. Overall, I thought Love & Other Disasters was an ok read. I thought the characters were interesting and I loved the idea of their story. I enjoyed their chemistry and banter and I was excited to see where things go. However, I did have some issues with this story. The first being the third person point of view. That made it hard to connect with the story and is something that I personally struggle with when reading books in that point of view. The next issue I had was the pacing. The pacing, in the beginning, was great. But, somewhere along the way, things just started to drag and it felt like forever before anything else happened.
While Love & Other Disasters wasn’t a 100% hit for me, I’m still glad to have checked it out. I think this author has some great potential and I’d be willing to check out another book of hers in the future.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseViolet and Jordan had a rough beginning that turn into a love. With the different turns and new problem they both work though, was the building of love. They have a baby and wedding to plan for in the future.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2020Format: KindleViolet is out of town with her best friends when she is thrown into a tizz when a sexy guy offers to buy ger a drink, causing her to give a fake name, as she was never expecting to see him again. JP is at the top of his game with a successful career, but now his reputation is on the line, and he finds out that Violet is his new employee. The sparks fly between these two, and I enjoyed the secondary characters. This is a good story with palpable chemistry, and relatable characters, and the only downside, in my opinion only, is that this storyline is heavy going. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2020Format: KindleThis is a nice story to read ate some point it drags on a little but even so I still had to read it through the end. The synergy between Violet and Murphy is great, this story would be better if told on the first person basis alternating between both of their points of view.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2020Format: KindleThis is the 2nd book I've read written by Terri Jones; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2020Format: KindleViolet does something completely out of character - she has a one-night stand with a guy she meets while out with her friend, Elle. Two weeks later, he's her new boss. JP is a great guy, smart and sexy, with so much going on in his life, both personally and professionally. When he falls for Violet, he falls hard. She's quiet, frequently disappearing into the background, and amazed that he's so into her. She's also a sweet and dedicated friend and employee, doing things her way. They have good chemistry, and a good bit of amusing banter between them. I enjoyed the book - a nice romance with some workplace drama.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2021Format: KindleThis was a fun story with main characters who were likable and relatable and had great chemistry together. Not a bad read.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2021Format: KindleMy review title is my favorite line in the book. ❤️
I really loved this book! I enjoyed JP and Violet as characters and as a couple. They don’t have an easy road, hence the “Disaster” part of the title. Their journey is full of crazy siblings, an embezzlement scandal, false identities, lies, and love. You just have to hope that when the dust finally settles that these two will fine together.
JP and Violet meet one night and unexpectedly hit it off. Come to find out later that he’s technically her new boss. While dealing with this development, they also have to deal with a potential financial problem at work which leads to an investigation. Along the way, we learn more about their families. Violet’s family is a little nutty and JP’s mother is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Revelations tear them apart and distance begins to separate them.
