    I was given this as an ARC from Whitley. I voluntarily decided to leave a review. This is my honest review.
    It feels like I've waited so long for this book when in reality it's not even a month. I couldn't wait to start it and it felt like coming home so comfortable and also the needing for closure to what had been started in the first book between Kendra and Justin.
    It was different than the first book because you feel like you already know both Justin and Kendra yet seeing them together was great and what you really want.
    I didn't know what to expect but I knew it would be great after the last book and I wasn't disappointed at all. I was hooked from the start, the way Whitley writes and portrays the characters is brilliant, she gives such detail you can picture what they look like without having to see them, she helps your imagination expand to take in everything she's telling you in such detail.
    I loved the way it was so different to the last book although I did cry a few times in this book being drawn with such emotion I don't think anyone would be able to read it without showing some emotion.
    Kendra has had such loss in her life yet Justin keeps her growing need for love and acceptance complete, he is everything she'll ever need but she can't help but second guess all the time. It's a rollercoaster of emotions again.
    This book focuses more on Justin's life and family and both are very trying to Kendra who's never really known true love given to her freely by anyone except her sister and her final foster family.
    Justin loves her and wants her so much, but he's driven by power and money, 2 things that have never played a part in Kendra's life, but she knew it as soon as she met him and walked into the relationship with her eyes wide open.
    I loved the way Whitley made this book so different yet still so compelling and emotional making you want to turn every page, no read the chapter, no finish the book! I had read it all without realising how long I had been reading or what time it was!
    I'd been so engrossed by what I was reading I'd tuned out to my surroundings or what was happening, I'd been pulled into the world of Kendra and Justin all over again because that is what Whitley does with her books! She makes them real, friends, family and everything that goes with them. They all have their flaws and faults just like everyone in the "real" world and you get to do it with Kendra and Justin.
    This book is definitely for over 18 because of the sexual content, this only heightens your senses and imagination making it wow, so hot in parts, but it's needed because it's part of Kendra and Justin and how Kendra can function with life, it's part of who they are.
    You also need time to read this book with no distractions because you need to take your time to read it and take in what's happening because it's not a book that you'll want to put down and pick up reading it over a few weeks. I tried and failed you just can't, once you open it their world takes priority to your other needs. You could read it in sections but it flows from one chapter to the next with no real place that you would want to stop, unless you're very strong and determined!
    There is nothing about this book that I didn't love, but then I would expect nothing less after reading the last book.
    Whitley has set a very high bar for herself with this book but I know she is able to keep it high because she has a rare talent, she writes from the heart and it shows through with every word on every page that she writes. She is a brilliant writer and I for one love her style of writing losing myself within her books!
    It's a must read romance which I will enjoy reading again and again.

    The second book with Kendra and Justin was like visiting old friends and was so good that I just couldn't stop until I read it all. The writing style of Whitney Cox is phenomenal. She shares information about the main protagonists, their friends, family, where they live, their routines in such a way that you know them, care about them and at times, feel like a voyeur. The stories also don't feel rushed, maybe because she lets them build at their own pace across two full sized novels, but whatever it is I love it!

    Normally I provide some background, but it is a wonderful story that picks up where book one ended. Kendra and Justin are still two people trying to find a way to love one another and make a life together, despite what life, work or family can throw at them. I think it is obvious, but I highly recommend this book. I know I can't wait to read the rest of Whitney's books, because if they are anything similar to this one they will be worth it.

    This story is graphic and describes erotic and intimate scenes in detail, including menage a trois, swinging, etc. It also mentions Kendra's past rape, the history with her parents and their addiction to alcohol and drugs. So if you are easily offended by any of these things, then it won't matter how good the story as this is not the story for you. I would rate the intimate scenes at 9 out of 10, as they were awesome and containes a few things that I thought I needed to capture to try with my husband ... whew! They were hot ....

    I am volunteering to leave an honest review for an ARC of this book.

    Love, Passion, and Power: Part 2 was everything I wanted it to be and more. We get to see Justin and Kendra give living together a try, grow in their relationship, learn more about themselves in the process, and have lots of great sex! I was already invested in the characters since I got to know them in book 1, and it was incredibly easy for me to slip right back into the story. So often with the books I read, I forget a lot of what happened in the previous book when it’s time for me to read the sequel. That didn’t happen here, and I have to give the author’s amazing writing the credit for that!

    Kendra is what I would call a broken heroine. Her childhood wasn’t the best with her mother and father being addicts, and her and her sister eventually ending up in the foster care system. One of the memories that haunt Kendra the most is the time her mother tried to sell her to her drug dealer for a fix. Trust doesn’t come easy to her as a result, and that causes a lot of problems between her and Justin.

    Justin is a workaholic. He is extremely successful especially for his age, and that is due to his ambition and drive. Money and success have always been what motivated Justin in life. Now that he is in a serious relationship, finding a balance between his work and his personal life is one of his biggest problems. This issue is another major source of conflict for the otherwise happy couple.

    Usually whenever Justin and Kendra are together, they have a wonderful time. It's obvious that they love each other, and their physical appetite for one another is insatiable as well. The issues they do have though are make it or break it. Will they be able to fix what’s broken before the damage to their relationship is irreparable?

    Love, Passion, and Power: Part 2 is engaging, entertaining, heartfelt, and hot! If I had to tell you two things I enjoy most about this author’s work and this book in particular, it would the writing and the sex scenes. Lol Her writing captures you immediately and doesn’t let you go. It’s so hard to put down one of her books! The flow of one scene to another, the description, the word choice…it’s all perfection to me. Now let me tell you about those steamy scenes! This woman either has one spectacular imagination or an amazing sex life. My kindle almost caught on fire, people!! I don’t normally enjoy f/f/m scenes, but they were so good that I honestly wasn’t even bothered by it in this book, and that is really saying something. That being said, don’t think this book is just a bunch of smut, because it’s not at all. The characters are multi-dimensional, the story is emotional, and the romance is heartwarming.

    Bottom line, this book completely exceeded my expectations. There is no question as to whether I am going to read the next book in the series. In fact, I won’t hesitate to pick up anything Whitley Cox writes! If you are a fan of contemporary romance with lots of steam, I recommend you give this series a try!

    This is part 2 of this series, the first book had me so involved I had to purchase part 2. The books make you laugh, cry and feel apart of the characters lives! This is a book that you won't be able to put down. Whitley cox is an amazing author! I love all her books so far.

    Wow! This is such a roller coaster. Kendra had so much insecurities to overcome from all the painful experiences she had in her life. Justin loves her but he too has his own insecurities to work through. This story is so emotional. I love how Kendra's friends supported through her fears and how patience Justin was with her. Justin and Kendra made mistakes in their relationship but found their way in the end.
