Have to say this book was hot and my husband even read it after me, That says a lot since he just tells me to read my books and let him know what I want to try from them.     So good and oh so hot! This is one of those books that has me going back and re- reading it and reading the next one and I just discovered that there is a third one!
    Kathryn has 2 sons who she raised alone. They are both off at college. Her friend Debra decides it is time that they go out on the town and she takes them to the own house at Nexus the local BDSM club. While she is there she meet Master Isaac.

    Master Isasc the owner of Nexus also owns a construction company, He needs someone to do the books at Nexus. There is a blind ad placed for a part time book keeper and who should answer the ad....

    This book is an adult book with themes of BDSM and kink so please know this if you go to read it.

I did enjoy reading this book, it has enough BDSM in it to keep you interested, enough of a real story about a mom in her 40's who discovers this lifestyle and has body image issues. Katherine has 2 boys in college but needs to make extra money so she can help one of her sons go to France for the summer.. she applies for a job at a construction company as the accountant, but it turns out the job isn't for the construction company, its for Club Nexus, a place she visited once as a visitor. Kathy learns about the different scenes in the club courtesy of Issac. Imagine her surprise when Issac has no issues with her pleasingly plump figure, who takes great care to show her gently what the lifestyle is all about and her willingness to become his sub. Its a good love story, not one of my most favorites but not a waste of time either. Coming to grips with this type of lifestyle is explored well in this book. I felt the end was rushed and could have been fleshed out just a bit more, but over all, its a good book.

    OMG I can't tell you how much I loved this book! It is a fairly short read so I was able to read it in about 3-4 hours. It was fantastic to read a story that has the lead female character to be in her mid 40's and to not have a perfect figure! And, Isaac likes then loves Kathy with all her flaws. Isaac is the owner of Nexus (BDSM club) and Kathy is an accountant. Enough, said I really don't like giving the story away. I love some of the quotes in the book. "What the hell am I doing? I think I've lost my mind. It's a mid life crisis...that's what it is. He doesn't seem put off by my body, though. Maybe he has bad eyesight. But he could feel the ridges of my stretch marks and scars. There has to be some reason he seems attracted to me. (now my favorite line in the book) I'm already going to hell in gasoline soaked panties, so why not....." I loved this book I can't say enough about it. I hope you will too. Oh and this is Lainie's debut book so you know her writing will only get better!

    This was the first book I have read by this author but will not be the last. I have been meaning to read this book for a while and it set on my TBR for too long. Now that I have finished it I am wondering what took me so long to read this great story. I have read plenty of BDSM books in the past and all have their own take on the lifestyle but this book stands out among them. The alpha male is sexy, hot, possessive with a failed marriage under his belt leading to closing off his feeling and emotions until her. The heroine is a strong minded, sassy woman in her 40's with a bad relationship in her past and body image issues, who's self esteem issues hinder her from possible relationships until she meets him. Once the two meet you can feel the passion and electricity drawing them together. The action and little bit of suspense keeps you hook on each page not letting you put it down, while the incredible hot and steamy sex scenes leave you breathless and wanting to read more. I would recommend this book and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

    I rated it okay, because I read it all! I really do not recommend this book for the money. It started out very good, then fell flat. The author does not develop the characters, but there was so much potential. It flips points of view. There is a conflict, but it bounces from chapter to chapter. So sorry I spent the time and money!

    I've read a number of bdsm romances that start off at a club, often with the club owner; the club is Nexus. However, Katherine endeared herself to me with her insecurities and independence. Isaac was a hot Dom. There are lots of erotic scenes in this, just enough to keep my interest, not too much. There's also an annoying co-worker, her new part-time job, and her learning to stand up for herself.

    This could have been just another cookie-cutter bdsm romance book, but it's not. I liked that Katherine and Isaac are in their 40s. They've had failures with marriages and romances. It added to my enjoyment, and I found myself reading it to the end without stopping to read another book, which I often do.

    This story ended in such a way that I wonder if it would be book 1 in a standalone series. I would like to read more about side characters: Patrick, Dungeon Master at the club, and Debbie, Katherine's friend. There is also a mystery to be solved, which adds to the storyline. If it is a series, I hope the author notes it on the cover. I would definitely be interested in reading more from this new author.

    Usually I don't write so much rezensions, but this book is so blaaaahhh , I could not finish it.
    She, older not skinny is meeting and later working for a super looking Dom an owner of a BDSM club.
    She loves the books from Cherise Sinclair, especially one about a club owner too, where a woman works for him and paricipates in the club scene...
    It is exactly the same story build up...but sooo simple written...the dialogues, the whole story telling..
    For me she is kind of copying the book from CS.

    I could not finish it...
    To much money for this book.. :-(

    Firstly I read this book in one night…that’s how good it was!
    Much like Katherine the main character in this book (and many of you out there) my love for BDSM books all started with 50 Shades. Needless to say I’ve come a long way since then (although not quite as far as Katherine!), which is probably why I loved this book so much. If you love Cherise Sinclair and Kallypso Masters, you will totally love Lainie Suzanne’s style of writing and amazing storyline. From the way she captures the insecurities of Katherine (a slightly older and larger lady, compared to the normal leading ladies we read about), to the pure dominance Isaac exudes in convincing her that she is in fact beautiful and sexy…talk about spanking some sense into someone jeez!! And let’s not forget the hot sex scenes ;-) So if you want some hot action with an awesome story you have got read this!! Can’t wait for Patrick and Debs story, which I’m sure will be just as hot as this one…hurry up Lainie!!! 

It's a great story with some fantastic hot and steamy scenes with an insecure 45 year old bigger lady and a super hot older man. When I finished the book I immediately looked to see if I could read more about Isaac and Katherine and although there is no more about them I was incredibly excited to see I could read the next book from this fantastic author next week.     First time read from this author and I will definitely be back for more, love her style of writing the book really pulls you in and I finished it in one night that's how good it was. Katherine meets Isaac after her best friend Debra plans on a girls night out to a BDSM club and Isaac recognises the interest Katherine tries hard to hide in the scenes going on around her. Loved the fact that Katherine was a larger lady and not the skinny blonde bombshell type you normally read about it made the story more interesting and believable, this book has everything love, sex and a little suspense all thrown in, I would definitely recommend this book so much so that I am away to buy Soleil the next book in this series. This author has a new fan.
