Hi, I'm Paul Teague, the author of the DI Hollie Turner series and the Morecambe Bay trilogies.

There are now five titles in the Hull-based DI Hollie Turner series, starting with a trilogy made up from The Fallen Girls, Her Last Cry and The Fifth Girl.

There are two standalone stories - The Killing Circle and Her Final Secret - which follow on from that first story.

There are nine books in the now-completed Morecambe Bay series, with the first story titled Left For Dead.

I've also written the Don't Tell Meg trilogy of psychological thrillers as well as several other standalone stories such as Now You See Her, Dead of Night, One Last Chance, No More Secrets and So Many Lies.

I'm a former broadcaster and journalist with the BBC, but I have also worked as a primary school teacher, a disc jockey, a shopkeeper, a waiter and a sales rep.

I've read thrillers all my life, starting with Enid Blyton's Famous Five series as a child, then graduating to James Hadley Chase, Harlan Coben, Linwood Barclay and Mark Edwards.

If you love those authors then you’ll like my thrillers too.

I also write sci-fi and dystopian novels as Paul Teague and these stories are set in dark and sinister future-worlds.

I have written The Secret Bunker Trilogy, The Grid Trilogy and the standalone story, Phase 6.

    Paul Teague – Morecambe Bay Trilogy 3 Bk 3 – Last To Tell – Reviewed 1/11/22 – Read 11/19/21

As we left the previous book, Kate had been electrocuted, and we did not know if she would make it. We join Kate as she comforts her friend from the horrendous experience and the fact that Charlotte will have to face her husband and family, but at least she will do it with her eyes open instead of closed.

Charlotte and Kate work together, finding the final clues that will give them both the answers they are seeking, but excitement revs up as things start falling in place. However, there is still plenty of mystery to keep us busy until the final page turns and now the story begins.

Join Charlotte as she recovers and works with Kate, but this time with her husband's blessings…

What did I like? This book was so exciting; in truth, as I have said in my reviews on the previous books, the excitement level has been sky high. The fact that we had a cliffhanger in the last book made it even more interesting for the close to this series.

What will you like? Action, mystery, missing people, intrigue, danger, and the ending to a breathtaking series that will blow you away! The characters have been wonderful to follow and cheer them on; the storyline is unique and detailed, beautifully written, well developed, and edited to perfection. Don’t miss adding Paul Teague’s last book in the Morecambe Bay Trilogy, “Last To Tell,” available NOW!!!

Charlotte Grayson, a fledgling newspaper reporter, shows traits of becoming a dyed-in-the-wool journalist, a rare creature in today’s world. While doggedly pursuing each and every lead to learn more about the 25-year-old cold case of the murder of local teacher David Brewer, and the related murder of DCI Kate Summers’ father, she and Kate have become primary targets of the unknown killer. Charlotte has barely survived numerous attempts on her life, and the killer has become more brazen, now chasing her in broad daylight. She has to hide her sleuthing efforts from her husband, who adamantly rejects her need to follow the case, wanting her to let the police handle everything. Will she survive long enough to see justice served?

Mr. Teague has combined many story lines and strong characters with vivid descriptions that kept me engaged as though I were a part of the exciting action. He kept me up late, turning the pages to find out what happened next, and brought the series to a very satisfying conclusion. I detected no loose ends, but he left himself opportunities to expand on stories with several of the characters, which I certainly hope he does. I am on the author’s BETA/ARC team. I received a copy to critique and review; this review is my honest opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I want to read more books by this outstanding author.
