Sweet, heartfelt and aching
Love You Now is warm fuzzies in book form. With a soap opera worthy plot, great characters and a metric ton of chocolate hearts, this story is a perfect conclusion to the Luview siblings' romantic shenanigans. Dennis and Ana are the textbook definitions of "when you know you know", despite every obstacle or quirk thrown in their way, they will have you believing in love again. 4.5 stars and a sugar glider

    This talented wordsmith has created a fictional world so quirky, charming and delightful I’d give anything to live there in real life. In Love You, Maine, every day is Valentine's Day and every business celebrates love to an excessive degree. The town's colors are red, white and pink, and no matter where you look, it's love, love, love.

    Dennis Luview may be a descendant of the town's founding members, but he walked away from all things love when he joined the military at age eighteen. A couple decades later, he's retired from his military career and carrying some ghosts that are the complete antithesis of anything even remotely love related. Reintegrating into civilian life is tough enough even without all the town's love trimmings.

    Meeting the lovely Ana DaSilva at his hotel the night before he returns home certainly takes his mind off his troubles. After just one night together, Dennis knows they have something special, so when Ana ghosts him, Dennis is flummoxed. When Ana shows up in Love You a few months later and clearly pregnant, well Dennis has a few questions.

    Yes, I’m biased because I love this series, but Dennis and Ana are my favorite. They may each have issues to deal with and some personal growth to achieve, but they’re mature and reasonable in how they deal with things which made me love them even more. Their story is sweet and heartfelt, and a bit harrowing at one point, and they stole my heart with no effort at all.

    And of course we have the big, well-intended but interfering Luview family, some particularly colorful townsfolk, and a few four-legged characters who provide perfectly placed comedy and levity. Charming and humorous but evocative and heartfelt, this phenomenal read is one of my favorites so far this year. Plan your reading escape to Love You right away, and I promise, your romantic heart will be eternally grateful.

    I’ve read several books written by Julia Kent, and her writing always makes me fall in love with he characters. This one didn’t fail. It’s another story of another member of a Luview finally finding love in Love You, Maine.
    Dennis is one of the sons of Dean and Deanna Luview, but he has been separated from his family, while he served in the Armed Forces. Retired now, he returns to his family, and his home town. He is not a believer of the towns theme of Love all year long.
    Prior to getting home he meet a young woman searching for a crying kitten in a dumpster. He spends a night with this attractive young woman, and his feelings change. He is completely attracted to her, but she leaves him before he wakes up. He attempts to contact her, but he learns that she has ghosted him.
    Ana has found herself searching for a crying kitten, and she meets Dennis. They spend one night together, but she leaves early. Days after this encounter, she finds out that she is pregnant by her ex-boyfriend, this upsets her, because of the way that he treated her, and he is also hiding from the FBI. She informs him about the baby, but this just makes matters worse.
    Ana goes to Luview, with her best friend, to attend a festival, and there she runs into Dennis. Her outraged Aunt causes a major scene, but Dennis and Ana have a chance to talk things out. They become close again, and a relationship develops.
    Several months after Dennis and Ana reconnect, their relationship is going well. Waiting at a restaurant for Dennis, Ana’s water breaks, including blood, and she faints. She is taken to an ER, and luckily the baby is born well, but Ana has some complications, which are resolved in surgery. Dennis is her support thru all this, along with both their parents.
    Ana recuperates, and the relationship between Dennis and Ana only gets stronger. The couple finally reach their HEA.

    Welcome back to Luview, Main! We finally get to read about Dennis Luview and his return home. After being in the service and away from home for the past 20+years, usually without being able to say where or what he was doing, he is now retired Colonel Luview and headed home for good. He meets Ana in his hotel both coming to the rescue of a kitten. Ana has her own trauma to deal with but when the two meet they can’t resist the pull to each other. Their stories are filled with trauma, heartbreak, scandal, but also laughs, love and healing. You will have all the feels as these two find their hea so be prepared with tissues and the ability to laugh and maybe even cry (or at least sniffle) out loud. This may be the end of the Luview family stories but I’m glad it’s the the end of the “Love You, Main” stories!

    Julia Kent is my favorite rom-com author. She is funny. Not cheesy, not eye rolling, well okay maybe a few eye rolls, but I was laughing and smiling often. But there were some heartbreaking moments as well as a bit of suspense. The characters were so real. I felt their connection. I love this whole series and this one is definitely my favorite. I want more from Julia Kent. Until then, I'll be rereading.

We meet Dennis and Ana, who have quite a bit of baggage that must be addressed and who are meant for each other. And then there are the animals, my favorite is, of course, the sugar glider.

    I loved Dennis and Ana's story. It was more emotional, tragic and serious than the other books in the series. It had its moments of levity or it would not be a Ms. Kent novel. There is a hint of an Easter egg in the novel confirmed in the bonus epilogue. I got onto it from the beginning. I can't wait to hear about the zany characters from this small town in future novels.

    I love this small town and the zany characters who embrace the love theme. Denis Luview returns to his family after more than 20 years away, ready to take over the family business. He encounters Ana at a hotel leading to a night of passion. She ghosts him and sex months later finds him in Luview, Maine. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon do a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life.

    Dennis has always been the absent brother, Little known about him. But now, as his story unfolds, I find joy in his tale of love.
    Dennis and Ana are great together, instant chemistry and charisma. The twists and turns of their tale had me captivated. All the nuances of the plot fed my soul.
    I love this family and all their stories. This book expands the world further but also shows the ties that connect can be very close to home.
    I loved this book and highly recommend it, the series and the author.

    I love your books. Read every one of them and never disappointed.

    I waited until Love You Now came out before reading the prequel and then the others.

    All of them had me laughing in places (especially Colleen and Moore, when Kell and Like burst into the cabin and the result was a broken wrist) but also tears in places. As for Nadine, Lucinda and the other characters, all brilliant. Hope you are going to include a story on the beekeeper as this series progresses.
