Charlotte Brice started writing at the age of thirteen, when her handwriting looked like a drunken spider tried to navigate its way across the page. Practicing her handwriting got a lot more interesting when her gran gave her two Rawhide books, and her imagination took over.

Charlotte is left-handed and can lick her own nose. She lives in England with her husband, and many animals, four of them human. Attack chickens, confused dragons, and moving rocks make up the majority of the menagerie. We can't expect much better from someone who studied fruit flies during her animal science degree and then qualified as a vet.

She remembers those days fondly, when putting her arm up a cow's bottom and socks on emus' heads was her kind of normality. Now her head is filled with tentacles and schizophrenic phoenixes.

    This was one spicy short. It's nice to read something quick every once in a while. After Will's brother racks up a huge amount of debt, he has no choice but to submit to the billionaire he was sold to for the weekend. Its that or wind up on the streets. Nathan is enamored with the sweet young man from the first moment. He hopes he can convince Will to stay with him beyond their arrangement. I really liked how this short story ended and am looking forward to reading future shorts in this series

    Charlotte Brice is new to me so a short story is a great way to check an author out. I am really glad I did. This story is very steamy, very fast, but has a complete feel to it. I do wish one part had taken longer but that is just me and I will not subject anyone to that.

    Should you read this? If you like short stories, insta lust to more, protective men, lots of k!nk then yes you should. You definitely should!

    In this quick spicy novella, Will is traded to Nathan to pay off his brother's debt. Nathan wants to own him, to make him beg for pleasure. Their relationship is built in a weekend but it leaves a lasting impression. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.

    If you're looking for a quick read full of heat, bi-awaking, bordering on darkness but not overwhelming and it doesn't feel incomplete, then this is the book for you.
    Will and Nathan's meeting may not have been ideal (hope Will's brother gets the karma he deserves), making you mad and hurting for sweet Will. Nathan was very alpha and knew what he wanted and he wanted Will. However, there were lines he didn't cross, an unwilling partner was one of them, giving Will choices Will didn't think he had. But Will took a chance when he got a glimpse of the caring and nurturing side of Nathan, hidden behind the gruff alpha domineering Dom. A chance that pays off greatly (take that Will's brother, lol). Will discovered and learned so much about himself and his desires.

    It’s actually harder to write a short story and get across everything you want than it is to write a novel that you can fill with tons of details. Charlotte Brice does a great job with this short story that takes place mostly in one weekend. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s worth a read because she makes it so charming and readable and the alternating voices of Will and Nathan come through and give us great insight into each character.

    The storyline is a familiar one but was enjoyable and just perfect for the time I had to squeeze in this book.

    Will is dropped off by his brother with billioanire Nathan to pay off a debt. Not the best startt to any kind of relationship.

    Will is nervous but Nathan is determined to show him how good a relationship could be.
