4.4 out of 5 stars 10 ratings

She’s trying to make a travel blog but ends up in the wrong country.
He’s the spy ordered to follow her.
Can one weekend of mishaps save his mission and heal his lonely heart?

For Tanzy, bad luck follows her wherever she goes. She’s a bit clumsy, horrible with directions, and just lost her job. Perfect solution, create a travel blog and take a trip. Turns out, this is easier said than done, especially when she ends up lost on the wrong side of the world, in the wrong country. She decides to make the best of her predicament by blogging about her adventure, which would be kind of fun if bad guys weren’t chasing her.

Philip “The Fixer” McKenzie, specializes in the field repair of anything the Agency needs fixing. If it’s broken, he’s called in to make it right. A mix-up at the travel agency sends him racing after the cutest, yet most confounding woman he has ever met. She blasts into his orderly life like a comet from outer space. His frozen heart is locked away on a shelf, but she might be the one who can thaw him out.

A bubbly read with a delightful heroine Tanzy and a dreamy hero. Tansey has a genius for getting situations that look like disasters. But they’re never disasters for her because she has A way of turning light right side up. Uptight Phil has never met anyone like her, but meeting her changes everything. From Washington DC to Liberia and back. The other Liberia, the one in Costa Rica. I ended the book with a very happy smile on my face.

Good book, it's like James Bond meets Miss Congeniality in stilettos. Tanzy is a bit of a klutz, but has a good heart, a big heart. Phil is an experienced spy who happens to be a bit uptight. Thrown together on a spy mission, they experience danger, blunders, and a happy ever after. I loved the descriptions of Liberia and learning more about the location. The story was a bit spicier than what I'm used to, but over all a pretty good book.

This story is short but full of action, romance, and fun. Looking forward to more adventures with Mama J's Travel Agency😊

Lost in Liberia is Book 3 in the Mama’s Travel Agency series and features Tanzy and Phil, the Fixer. Tanzy is a granddaughter of Mama J, and was just fired from yet another job and is on her way to her travel agency and a trip that she thinks is Liberia a country in Africa, but instead she finds herself on a plane to Liberia, Costa Rica with Phil. Without giving anything away, Tanzy is known as a walking disaster by her family and her and Phil find themselves on a Mama J mission and loads of crazy times.

What a very funny book with so many slips and trips! I have never read from this author but it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy every moment!!

I couldn’t help but feel so incredibly bad for Tanzy from the beginning. She seems to have been through so much and it always gets blamed on her. I honestly at one point wanted to yell at some of her family! Even though she took the blame she held her head high at the end. I loved that she could stick it to them! I wasn’t sure how things would progress with Phil and I worried that things would be too much. While, they were too much at times, he seemed to come to the same conclusion as Tanzy. I loved the twists and turns and the overall ending!

This was such a fun read that I wasn’t expecting! I think most of the series has been light some of the time but this one was completely different and so refreshing! Amazing writing style and I can’t wait to read more!

Lost in Liberia is a fun and funny romance for Tanzy and Philip. It's maybe a little bit over the top at times, but when you're looking for some laughs, this will do the trick. The Vagabond Series has kind of been all over the place with tropes, all of them revolving around travel and vacation. This one covers the romantic comedy trope, and I'd venture to say you'll laugh out loud at least a time or two while reading this one. So, if you're looking for a fun book to take on vacation, this one is a good way to go. It's well written, it's funny, and it's fast paced.
