5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely collection of poems.

I really enjoyed this poetry collection, I had lots of favourites. The school days and childhood ones in particular brought back memories, as did Eagle. Moon was very atmospheric and I love the moon anyway. Dying Race reminded me of W.H. Auden's Stop All the Clocks although for different reasons, just that slowing down and pausing - another one of my favourites. Some of the poems had lovely shapes to them, one being Ferrybridge Services Cooling Towers. Beautiful choice of words by the author too in all poems. I won't say what they're about because that will spoil it but a lovely collection for when you have just a moment. I bought the paperback for that reason, easier to dip into. Very enjoyable.
