Lost (Lost & Found Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.8 out of 5 stars 13 ratings

When Grammie Marigold tells Poppy Granger to run, to flee and be free, Poppy doesn’t hesitate.

Poppy only recognized the moment after Marigold put a spotlight on it. Freedom. She had a chance. A brief flicker of time to get out there and live in the real world.

If there was one thing Grammie Marigold believed in above everything else, it was love. Real love. True love. Love that didn’t care about her fortune. Didn’t care about status or society or opinion.

After what just happened at the altar during her sister’s wedding, Poppy is the scarlet woman. The outcast. The one everyone will whisper about.

Rather than sticking around to be sneered at, Poppy takes Grammie’s advice and ventures out into the world. The real world. The one far from the family name and expectation.

Poppy doesn’t believe she’ll find her Prince Charming on the city streets, all she wants to do is live. Life, as it turns out, has its own ideas and what’s supposed to be a simple apartment hunt turns into a reality she wasn’t expecting.

Poppy comes from a life of wealth and privledge. Turner is self made, construction work and taking care of everyone but himself is all he knows. There is an instant attraction when these two meet but life and commiments seem to take center stage. I was rooting for these two the entire book, they are fun, sexy and sweet together! I loved the cast of characters from Turners family. Looking forward to seeing how Poppy and Turner can come together in book two.

Lost was adorably funny, hot and sexy, all rolled into one perfect book. I just couldn't get enough of this book, I started reading it and didn't put it down til I was done.

Poppy Granger was brought up in a well to do family, but when she is set out into the world to find her own way she's bound and determined to find herself and maybe a little love along the way.

Turner Maddox comes off as a grumpy, but sexy as sin. Turner has a lot going on in his life and Poppy is a huge distraction to him.

I’m so happy with this book and the characters. While it’s not a simple happily ever after (hopefully we’ll see that in the next book) it doesn’t have too much drama or angst.
Poppy is looking for a fresh start away from her overbearing family and just happens to find herself an all around great guy in the process. But when the life she ran from catches up to her she can’t risk it destroying the new life and family of friends that she’s found.

Lost is pure Scarlett Finn. She has a way of creating wonderfully flawed characters and then throwing their lives off of a cliff to see how they handle it. It’s masterful. Lost is a beautiful balance between the unforgettable characters and the compelling plot. I’m on tenterhooks to see how it all works out. Turner and Poppy deserve a happy ending. Another pure page turner from Ms Finn.

The beginning gets this story going in full swing. With Grammie's encouragement, Poppy's foray into the unknown is full of surprises and sexual tension. She finds more than she expects when apartment shopping. I loved reading about Poppy and the new people she meets on her journey to discover what makes her happy. *I received an Arc for my honest opinion.*

2.5 stars. I hate to be the one to do this but this book was just bad . It was boring to the point of me just skipping chapters to see if there was any meat to the story. Couldn’t do it anymore at 75% in and gave up.

This book was nothing but constant back and forth. Poppy pathetically pining for a guy that was so wish’s washy it was beyond annoying . There was no plot, no story really . She didn’t learn anything like grammie told her to do. She just plopped down into a quaint little town and began listing and literally salivating over one guy in day 1 and he kept turning her down then drawing her in, back and forth, up and down like a seesaw . It was just bad .

Scarlett usually writes the best characters. I should know, I’m obsessed with all her books and have read every single book. I went to her website and went through every book on her list . I loved almost every one of them, except for 1. But none of her FMC were this dense and this pathetic . I have no idea why this story had such a poor character . Oh well, I still love her writing and love all her books, so I’ll keep reading everything she releases. One miss will not disparage me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Brilliant Read ❤️❤️❤️

Another brilliant book from Scarlett that I found difficult to put down.
The characters are amazing especially the main characters Poppy and Turner, their chemistry is just off the chart. The way that Poppy looks out for Turner is so special, you don't get that kind of relationship every day. The emotional roller-coaster you'll go on with this book is real, so make sure you strap in and put your big girl pants on before reading this book. There are also plot twists that you don't see coming until bang they smack you in the face, so be prepared.
I absolutely loved this book and will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know, I couldn't praise it higher.

    I absolutely loved this book.
Scarlett as you hanging on to your seats through out the book.
Poppy escapes her home to get away from all the chaos.
She meets Turner he's a great man.
You'll cry, you'll laugh, and even cuss.
Although I'm not fond of reading 3rd pov. I'm glad I read this book (lost as everything you need in hopes to be found)
Can't wait for the next book.
