About the author

Brazilian and Irish, Amy Oliveira is a contemporary romance author dedicated to writing about the two things you shouldn't skip on: therapy and smut.
Amy's leads are strong, flawed, and very open about their mental health struggles. And her heros are understanding, lovable, and often pierced.
The combination results in a delicious slow burn with a lot of heart and a lot of heat.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2022Couldn't finish it. There were just too many typos. Plot had potential, but the pacing was too quick. Not my cup of tea.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2022Such a cute enemies to lovers, second chance romance novella.
Anything I say will be a spoiler so here's how I felt about it. I was hooked from the beginning. I see so much of myself in Louisa, jumping to conclusions or overthinking everything...not so much the scheming but so much of her personality I see in myself.
Remy is so cute. He's so quick with his comebacks and I just had a blast with him.
Amy has such a way of drawing a reader in and throwing them right into the commotion. She builds up tension and bam! On to the next moment. I can't tell you how many times I was holding my breath or pining in anticipation, only for no follow through. Definitely a slow burn but so worth it.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2024It is the perfect enemies-to-lovers romance with a fun, unexpected twist. Louisa Rodriguez is a bold, no-strings-attached kind of woman, and her latest one-night stand turns out to be a disaster with Remy Park.
But the real twist happens when fate throws them together on a boat, and she finds out he’s about to become her step-brother.
The chemistry between Lou and Remy is electric, and watching them go from bickering to something deeper is both entertaining and heartwarming.
Lou’s belief in horoscopes adds a quirky charm, while Remy is impossible to dislike, even as Lou tries. If you’re looking for a lighthearted read with humor, romance, and a dash of fate, this novella is a great pick! Perfect for fans of second chances and enemies-to-lovers stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars I could read more 100 pages about Lou and Remy!
The only problem with this book, it’s because it ends. I absolutely love Lou and Remy! The chemistry, the bantering, the background, everything. I could easily read another book about them. Plus, the Latina mother and daughter relationship was perfect, and how they are best friends and are all about each other happiness made me quite ready. If you haven’t grabbed a copy yet, I highly suggest you to do so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another hit
Lou is a great character and, even if a little immature at first, she comes full circle by the end. It helps that we have the hot and perfectly annoying Remy to bring out the best and worst from her.
It also helps that they are also on a cruise ship on the Greek Islands, right?
