Lucy Appadoo is a prolific author who writes contemporary romance novels and romantic suspense novels about strong women who manage adversity with strength and heart. She is the author of the contemporary billionaire romance series alongside the Friends in Crisis and Women of Strength Series in the romantic suspense genre.

After a childhood spent reading and imagining escapist worlds, Lucy has put her imagination into stories. Her work as a rehabilitation counsellor, and former work as a counsellor in private practice, have led to an interest in writing inspirational stories about authentic, driven women who struggle with a new love interest or stalker.

Lucy’s interests include plotting the next love story, travelling for fun and inspiration, researching crime stories and news to inspire her work, watching romance and suspenseful movies, reading, meditating, and spending time with friends and family. She also appreciates her Italian background, which has inspired her to write imaginative stories about her parents’ childhoods that have led to The Italian Family Series novels.

    Any time I get a chance to read from this author I take it! She writes some amazing books! These books will keep you turning the pages and on the edge of your seat! This book here is just another one of the great books she writes!

    The bloody bathtub scene is a work of art for our love-obsessed, giving the story a good, strong start. As the life drains from her, he wonders if he would ever find someone to love.

    Later on, we discover that the girl in the bathtub was a client of Gabriela’s, our main heroine and our killer’s newest obsession. The story is punctuated by long and descriptive narratives rich in detail and insight. There’s a lot of social interaction with her group of friends that it sometimes deviated from the mystery. It can be slow at times, but the suspense certainly kicks in more once our stalker does his work. And then the hunt for a killer begins.

    A good psychological suspense.
