    Perry and Stephen and Dre and Crista and Adam and Kate and ..... Perry had a lot of friends and each one had their own story. Crista was Perry's roommate and best friend. Dre was her on again off again boyfriend. Adam and Kate were friends from work. Stephen she ran into at a bar "Lucky's". After that she kept running into him here and there. Then she found out he was a big shot where she worked. When Dre asked Perry to become exclusive, she said yes but her heart was not in it. She just did not know it yet, but she was more attracted to Stephen and was getting to know him and started to like him way too much. The rest of the story tells of Beach of the relationships and how they affected her and Stephen. A very good read.

This was a great friends to lover story with some of our favorite Legal characters although this book can be read completely alone.     Had to stop reading this book as not one of the main characters came over as being anything but horrible. Perry I'm guessing is supposed to be free spirited and willing to speak her mind. However she comes over as sarcastic, fouled mouthed and hard to please. Her room mate just comes over as put simply a slut. Stephen, the 'love interest' is obsessive, controlling and harassess Perry. And Dre, Perry's boy friend at the start of the book is a sniviling little liar.

    The story could have been the romance equivalent of Shakespeare or Dickens but the horrible characters simply overwhelmed any possible enjoyment of the story.
