My name is Elena Herrero, and I am an inquiring mind eager to grow and learn every day.

When I was a child, I liked to investigate everything that fell into my hands. I have always been curious and creative. I wanted to be an architect, then an airplane pilot until, at the age of sixteen, a car accident with my parents and my sister made me decide to go into healthcare and I have been a nurse in an ICU in Madrid for more than twenty years now.

The twists and turns of life and the lack of motivation that I began to notice when I realized that, perhaps, I had that armor that the years put on you, to avoid taking all the emotions of work home. Then I decided to investigate and write about personal growth and the necessary skills to enjoy and learn from the relationship with others. This is how I got into the wonderful world of communication and writing. Although I wrote some stories when I was a child and maybe, someday, I will dust them off, and they will come to light.

Together with this moment of recognizing and expressing emotions again, I have carried out activities such as painting, which I already liked as a child, but now guided by a teacher, and theater; one of my great challenges from which, undoubtedly, I will continue to learn.

The latest challenge has been to enter the literary genre of the novel. She surprises us with Remontada épica, where her mission is to guide the characters towards personal growth, confronting them with their dreams and failures inspired by current events.

The greatest satisfaction is to be able to teach what she has also taught you.
