    I'm loving this series by Eveline Rose! Doug & Beth have both suffered heartbreak and grief in the past so both are scared to start a new relationship, even tho they've been attracted to each other for awhile. Beth's little boy Chase is just the cherry on top to this story and ultimately is the reason they finally let their guard down and admit their true feelings for each other! I definitely recommend reading not only this book but the whole series!

    I liked the characters and the plot but I found most of the book slow except for a section around the middle which was tense and exciting. There were too many secondary characters which I found confusing at times because I hadn't read any of the previous books in the series.

    Beth was a great character - I could feel her passion and worry about her son, Chase. He brought a lot of fun to the story in his interactions with the other characters. Doug was a bit too good to be true and he was overshadowed by some of the other characters occasionally which made it seem that he wasn't the H.
