A forced marriage that was never supposed to be real. Now he can’t live without her.

EMMA

I'm the good sister. The rule follower. All I want is to make a difference in the world and become a doctor.

But fate has a twisted sense of humor. In a blink I'm forced to marry a stranger, a pawn to keep the peace between families.

And that’s not even the worst news.

Now I've learned this marriage must produce an heir within six months to prevent all-out war.

GIACOMO

I'm a soldier of death, finally in control of my family's empire in Sicily's treacherous underworld. And I plan to take back everything that was stolen from us.

I have no time or patience for a young, innocent bride, especially one so kind and gentle like Emma. Staying with me will only destroy her.

I should send her away.

Except a deep, dark part of me longs to claim what is rightfully mine . . . .

Emma & Giacomo ❤️‍🔥

Emma & Giacomo ❤️‍🔥
Mafia Virgin is book five in The Kings of Italy series. This series has been a mafia series that I’ve genuinely enjoyed reading. Each individual book has been a ride, and this one was no different. This book follows Giacomo and Emma’s forced arranged marriage. Emma has always been the “good girl” of the family. The sister who listens and doesn’t like trouble, and when her father is threatened, she does what she always does, which is listen to whatever orders are given to her to protect her family. Giacomo was an interesting personality- I was happy to see his character growth by the end of the book and how he become someone that Emma deserved. This book had a lot of twists and turns. Emma was definitely my favorite part of this book. To see her become this woman who stands up for herself was great. Mila Finelli continues to give us some amazing mafia stories, and I can’t wait to see what’s next! 🥰

This was an outstanding series! I loved every book and character. The stories were exciting and the romance steamy. The male characters were lovable and the female characters strong. Can't wait to see if there's more. Definitely following this author. I ran into this series on YouTube, so I was lucky enough to hear a couple of the books.

Mafia Virgin is a gripping, emotionally intense dark romance that pairs a ruthless mafia underboss, Giacomo, with a seemingly innocent and reclusive young woman, Emma. It’s the fifth installment in Mila Finelli’s Kings of Italy series but can be read as a standalone.

Mafia Virgin is more than just another dark mafia tale it’s a love story built on breaking down walls, confronting trauma, and finding strength in the most unlikely person. Mila Finelli writes flawed, magnetic characters who feel real even in the most extreme situations.

This book was hard for me to get through, a lot of the conversation was in Italian and I had to translate a lot. This was mentioned by the author in the beginning but I still found it to be distracting. I enjoyed the story but felt like the characters fell a little flat. I wish there had been more time when Emma and Mo really worked together and showed why they fell in love. The spice was well written and definitely point to lust first, love later. Overall, I felt it fell on the lighter side of dark romance but always check TW before going in, happy reading.

    5/5 STARS
    4/5 SPICE

Mila Finelli's writing is excellent and she continues to impress with her latest release. Mafia Virgin is a masterpiece! It is the story of how a forced marriage that was never supposed to happen changes the lives of two people who end up falling irrecoverably in love. This is the fifth book in the Kings of Italy series and you’re 100% going to want to read the previous four books first before this one!

Emma is an innocent medical student who is forced into an arranged marriage with a Sicilian mafia Don. Giacomo is a walking sin with a deliciously filthy mouth; he is headstrong and doesn’t let anyone tell him what he can and cannot do. The two of them are forced to do their duty by an enemy which only brings them closer in the end. Eventually, Giacomo's heart made of ice and his iron will slowly starts to melt for his new wife. While Emma has to become used to what her new reality as the wife of a mafia Don will mean. Their 'relationship' starts off the wrong way and neither one of them considers their marriage to be real until much later. Then both of them fall in lust before they fall in love, but when they fall in love with each other, they fall HARD.

This book checked off everything on the checklist for me: engaging characters, a main pairing with serious chemistry, an interesting plot with great banter, and lots of delicious spice. I enjoyed reading Mafia Virgin immensely and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

-->> Make sure that you check out the CW/TWs before reading as this is a Dark Romance.

Mafia Virgin is the super hot conclusion to the Kings of Italy series. Once again, Mila Finelli creates a satisfying, addictive story that’s impossible to put down.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Both Emma and Giacomo are being blackmailed into marriage in order to create an alliance and hopefully stop any feuding between rival mafia factions. While Emma is convinced her powerful brothers-in-law Fausto and Enzo would never allow it, they don’t know that her father has cancer and she is keeping his illness secret. For his part, Giacomo has taken over as capo after his brother and father’s welcome deaths. But, no one can find out his biggest secret either. So sure, they can get through this marriage of convenience…but now there needs to be a pregnancy in 6 months? And why do both of them find the idea of it so hot?

Look, I’m not usually a fan of the virgin FMC, and Emma could’ve come across as a wishy-washy do gooder. But I was pleasantly surprised to see just how strong she becomes in this book. She takes it upon herself to protect her family, and stands up to her new mafioso husband, no problem.

For his part, there’s a lot to be said for Giacomo’s literal “touch her and die” attitude. Clearly the man has some family issues, but it’s great when Emma brings out his protective and possessive side. These qualities would be huge red flags in real life, but are perfect for fictional characters.

Mila Finelli has made me a mafia romance fan. This entire series hit all the right notes for me, and proved to be the sizzling escape I needed. I highly recommend these books if you are in the mood for hot mafia romance!

I wasn’t sure what to expect here but I loved it. This book is more arranged marriage with conditions which can be hard to pull off, but I was so keen to get back to this book every time I set it down.

I could out this book down and I have to say that the way Mo and Emma learnt to care about each other was absolutely perfect and done in such a genuine way I couldn’t stop swooning. Mo Is such a sweetheart and I loved seeing him try to corrupt Emma while she was absolutely on board with it. Added bonus seeing Fausto and Frankie, Gia and Enzo and the kids

I really enjoyed Mila’s first books in this series, and was excited to read this one.
I found it to be enjoyable, although very spicy, it felt like maybe too much in places.

Emma is a straight A student at college, studying to become a doctor. Her father is a mafia Don, and her sisters are both married to different Mafia Don’s.

The Cosa nostra have had their Don killed, and the Capi wanted Giacomo, the new Don to marry Emma to show strength, as Emma’s sisters husbands son, killed Giacomo’s father and son. Although they are not missed at all, Mo didn’t have a very good childhood and ended up faking his sisters death to keep her from enduring the same fate as him, no one knew about Vivi being alive, but the Capi found out and used this as leverage for Mo to marry Emma.

Emma and Mo now need to figure out how to get out of this marriage and remove the threat to their families.

We had a good push and pull from Mo and Emma, which I enjoyed. A part of me just wanted a bit more.

Definitely a new one-click author for me!
An excellent plot with some twists, turns, and enough drama to make the book stand on its own without the steamy scenes.
Very likeable characters, a heroine with some spine, and a mafia king with grit.
