    "Man" is Cain's book and the ending of the 7 Forbidden Arts series which we finally find out the mystery behind the leader of this group as well as Godfrey's wife, Olivia. The book starts with the team surveilling (stalking) Olivia trying to get to Godrey so they can take him out and save the human race. Cain becomes increasingly obsessed with her because he cannot get into her mind like he can others. While the team thinks she's protecting her husband, in reality, he's blackmailing her and using the lives of innocent families as leverage to make her do what he wants. Cain realizes this pretty quickly and goes to great lengths to try to protect Olivia from her husband and his team. The book is filled with the usual action, adventure and Charmaine Paul's level steam. These books do not have quite the dark romance themes that some of her other works do, but they are incredibly entertaining and engaging! There was a blurb for the next book as a spinoff for Godfrey's daughter - Lily- that I'm excited to check out when it's released!

    I have thoroughly enjoyed this re-issuence of the series and eagerly waited for Cain's story. He has been portrayed as hard-hearted and cold, with flashes of empathy and understanding. His attitude has been focussed and pointed but all that takes a turn when he discovers not only his enemy's weakness, but also his own. His journey and his realizations show that even the most rigid and uncompromising must bend or become irrevocably broken.

    Man is the re-published ninth and final book of the 7 Forbidden Arts series, a paranormal romance written by the amazingly talented Charmaine Pauls. The story centers around Cain and Olivia. As the leader of a secret supernatural team fighting against evil forces, and most specifically, against Godfrey, a super villain tycoon focused on destroying the world, Cain has had to make hard choices for himself and his team. He has now finally found a way to end Godfrey and subsequently put an end to his nefarious plans. In order to do so, he will need to use someone he has been looking for and finally found; as in Olivia. What an exciting and crazy good this last book turned out to be! There are plenty of twists and turns that you won't see coming, as well as HEAT, action, and amazing secondary characters. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, the characters from the other books of the series are very present in this book, so I would still recommend you read this series in order, as it would enhance your reading experience. Highly recommended! A PERFECT ENDING to a truly enjoyable and very entertaining series 💜💜💜

    I can’t tell you how much I have loved this series.
    It’s so good and so riveting.
    And I got a front row seat to seeing each character fall in love and get their HEA.
    Now it’s Cain’s turn.
    That man just intrigued me from book one.
    He’s strength is magnificent and he’s awe inspiring when making his decisions.
    Especially the tough gut wrenching ones.
    Now I got to know Cain more in-depth.
    He’s a complex character. That had a mysterious energy to him.
    So it was great to see his layers being peeled back throughout the story.
    Since the death of his wife no woman has ever caught his attention.
    Until Olivia.
    Who also happens to be the wife of his and his team’s number one enemy.
    Ms. Pauls’ once again gives us a story that is gripping and utterly captivating.
    Filled with action, suspense, mystery and spice.
    Cain and Olivia had a chemistry that burned hot and heavy.
    Their attraction to each other and the passion they had lit the pages on fire.
    I also loved getting to see the rest of the team members and their significant others.
    Just a spectacular to the Forbidden Arts series!

    This series has been amazing and suspenseful from the beginning. Learning about all of the characters and their powers has been an incredible read.

    The last book was about Cain. He has been in every book as he is the leader, but not a lot has been shared about him, until now. This is the book I have been waiting on and it does not disappoint.

    Cain has been battling with Godfrey for a long time and he finally found the way to end the battle and her name is Olivia. Godfrey’s wife. The chemistry between them is insane and worth the wait.

    I would definitely recommend this series to anyone. This is not the normal kind of series that I read but it was amazing and I absolutely love Charmaine Paul’s writing. She is an amazing author and never loses the reader for a second.

    I have adored the 7 Forbidden Series and Man is the final book and is Cain Jones, the leader of the paranormal task force story. I could not wait to read his story; it was well worth the wait as it did not disappoint.

    In the past 8 books we have we got glimpses of Cain but did not get to learn about his personality and how important his role was in the lives of the Forbidden Arts Task Force.

    His attraction to the forbidden Olivia, who is the wife of the enemy Godfrey was unexpected and obsessive. These two had incredible chemistry and when they acted upon it, it was sizzling!

    Their journey to eradicate Godfrey was exciting and had me reading late into the night. I also enjoyed the dual POV.

    This series is one of my favourite from the very talented Charmaine Pauls.
