‘Mansa Musa - The richest man in history’ is a biography for children about the richest person that ever lived.

History has so many stories about people who have had a significant impact on the world but are known by very few people. The Our Story series is made up of their stories, and through learning about them you will realise that there really is no limit to what you can achieve.

Written and published independently by Young Trees Education, the book features outstanding illustrations by Emanuel Colban.

This is a 38 page children’s book which includes questions, a craft activity, glossary and pronunciation guide, as well as a QR code linking to further information about the Djinguerber Mosque for our young readers to interact with.

We are also delighted to have partnered with CAMFED to provide one day of schooling for a young girl in Africa with each book purchased.

    I had not known of this rich man before discovering him in this book. The story reminds me of Bible tales because it is written about a time long ago about a people who traveled through deserts on camels with great treasure. But it is about a great Muslim man who practiced extreme generosity and worked to establish institutions of learning. It is nice to see other religions and cultures so our children can be more aware of the varied peoples on the planet.
