    Absolutely loved this one from Cassidy. It's a very gentle, comforting and sweet read and finishes with a splendid ending.

    The FMC Finley is rescued by a merrow who she recognizes has rescued her before long ago. They then start to converse and learn more about each other, leading to Finley to realize there is more about both her and the merrow than she ever thought possible. This revelation leads her to a decision that could change everything for both of them.

    The experience of reading this book is similar to watching a calm and steady indie movie that gently guides you through the plot in an almost immersive dream-like experience and makes you think about it long after you've finished it.

    This is a perfect read for Mermay or any "Mer"-day read you want to have. Every recommend. It's a fantastic read.

    I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but I was able to get a sense of the place and the characters despite the length of the book. I liked that the merrow didn’t know everything about humans and was actually confused by some of the things Finley said/did, which is usually something that annoys me in monster romances because it often doesn’t make any sense. Here Íde was a real “monster” and Finley accepted them exactly how they were. I do wish we had gotten to see a true HEA for them since this was more of HFN.

    This was such a great, spicy, unique read. I thought the FMC was a good blend of sweet and adventurous. Also loved the small Irish town vibes.

    Also Ide was such a good romantic lead! Just wished I could have seen them get there. Ideally I would have just wanted this book to be about 20% longer and maybe end a little less abruptly
