Insomniac Mia needs the comfort of reading spicy romance to help her relax enough to fall into slumber. Things have become so desperate that she sneaks in to a library one night to cocoon herself in the books she craves. As she flits in and out of sleep, one dusty tome seems to take on a spectral human form, the words sculpting and winding out of the pages. The entity reaches out to Mia, touching her in ways she'd never thought possible.

Believing the experience to be a dream, she returns home to find the book under her bed and the ghostly seduction continues. Mia finds herself falling in love with the beautiful spirit that knows exactly how to please her.

But the apparition becomes more demanding, instructing Mia to seduce other people on its behalf.
