Sometimes, it only takes one kiss…

Grace Eversley loves Christmas, and this is going to be the best one yet. Her family has been hired to organise the biggest event on the Betancourt Bay Christmas Calendar – the Mistletoe Dance. Not only that, the man she’s had a crush on for most of her life, is going to ask her to be his date. At least, that’s what her family and friends are all saying. Russell Betancourt hasn’t said a word.

But Grace knows Russell keeps his feelings close to his chest. Unlike his older brother, Griff. The only thing that man keeps close to his chest, is the latest beauty he’s dating. And Grace knows exactly what Griff feels about her – absolutely nothing. He’s made that abundantly clear. She’d like nothing more than to wipe that conceited smirk off Griff’s face. Except to get his brother, Russell to declare his true feelings.

As snow falls over Betancourt Bay, and fairy lights twinkle at Betancourt – the venue for the Mistletoe Dance, and the ancestral home of Russell and Griff, is there more than music in the air ? Is there also … magic? And is Grace about to get her wish? Or one of them, at least? Sometimes, it only takes one kiss…

All books in this series can be read as standalones. If you are reading the entire series, please read in order, to prevent spoilers.
This series can also be read with the Locke Isle series. Some characters appear in both series, but again, all books are standalone.

Emily writes novels, novellas and short stories about friendship, family, the things life throws at us, and falling in love. She loves a happy ending but knows that life doesn't always go to plan. Her stories are sure to bring a smile to your face and a warmth to your heart. She is a full member of the Society of Authors and since her first book was published in 2012, several of her books have been best sellers.

Emily lives in East Sussex, UK, minutes from the sea in a town called Hastings - famous for the Battle of 1066. The stunning surrounding countryside and quaint English villages often appear in her books. Emily lives with her rescue cat, Portia, and when she's not writing, she loves to read, cook, drink (too much) wine with her friends, and potter in the garden of the house she's recently bought. She also loves skiing, adores frolicking in the snow, and is a self-confessed lover of Christmas - which can't start too early, in her opinion.

Emily loves to connect with her readers and has a readers' group in which many have become good friends. To catch up with Emily, or find out about the group, visit https://www.emilyharvale.com or connect with her on social media: https://www.facebook.com/emilyharvalewriter

Although there was a slow start, it was worth pushing through. The emotions of the characters could be felt through the story told. Most definitely an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the bantering between Grace & Griff. I just knew they were meant to be, or were they? Russell surprised me though! Nice ending.

I love Emily's books, and this was a lovely festive story and the first in a new series. I love that there is a map of the place where the story is based for the different series. Getting to know new characters the map helps me place everyone. Hoping we get to meet them again in book 2, which I am looking forward to releasing shortly. Emily is a release day read for me, whilst I love all of her stories. Her Christmas ones are some of my most favourite and get me into the Christmas spirit.

Really enjoyed this book. A story about wonderful family . The story is easy to read but hard to put down. It is sad in parts but also funny in at other times. Well worth the read .

What a lovely romantic tale by Emily Harvale.
Grace has carried a torch for Russell since their school days, but his brother Griff, she hates(or does she?)
When Grace’s family, The Eversleys are asked to arrange the annual Mistletoe Ball at Betancourt, little do they know what it will entail, read this fantastic romantic story, a perfect Christmas read by Emily Harvale.

The story between Grace and griff was funny but lack of communication could have been very different.
Great start to the series, looking forward to reading book two.
