    And Sterling? 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙬. This man. The instant attraction he feels for Courtney is sizzling, but at first, he can’t see her working for him. Cue the tension and all the delicious pining. But once he gets a glimpse of what Courtney’s been carrying on her own? Oh, he softens and 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙. Like, rock-bottom, no-coming-back kind of fall. And yes—he has some groveling to do, and it’s so worth it. He shows up for her in every way, and I melted. Total swoon-fest.

    The chemistry between these two? Off the charts. Sterling is that perfect blend of possessive and protective, with a filthy mouth and a heart that—once committed—holds nothing back. He’s 𝙖𝙡𝙡 in.     This book was very steamy but more importantly it was all about found family, a sense of home and finding your person.

    I really enjoyed book 1 in the Mountain Men series and I found Courtney to be a character I just wanted to wrap my arms around but also someone who had me giggling at her antics. It was such a relief to see her find her home and to see someone take the heavy burden of daily living when you don’t have much off her shoulders.

    Sterling was 3 parts gruff and the rest sexy and I found him to be the perfect counterpart. He made mistakes but was willing to admit to them and change and I liked that about him. It was a really great book with the other staff making the Lodge a real family home.

    From the moment that this book and new series was announced I've been a fangirling mess ever since! Anything that this author writes I absolutely NEED it in my life. Mountain Boss became one of my most anticipated reads of the year instantly. I blocked out the outside world and dived into all things Mountain Men! I absolutely loved and devoured this story!

    Courtney and Sterling's journey had me completely hooked from beginning to end! Black Mountain Lodge has these two and their worlds colliding as Courtney becomes Sterling's new employee. It isn't going to be easy for these two. Can Sterling and Courtney find a way to work together? and what happens when feelings burn bright between the two?

    I was glued to Courtney and Sterling and their journey all throughout! I enjoyed the way these two were brought into each other's lives and the boss/employee of it all. I couldn't wait to see how they'd deal with being around each other, working together, personal things, and everything that they ignited within each other's hearts.

    Courtney and Sterling's chemistry was undeniable and blushworthy! These two got under each other's skin in so many ways and I really enjoyed their banter and they how they got to each other. Courtney was such a wonderful and strong character. I just adored her! I was instantly curious about Sterling and was glad I got to dig deeper with him as well. This man was all about Courtney! Sterling and Courtney had my heart and I falling hard! These two had me all in my feels for sure. All the love for them!

    I couldn't get enough of these characters and all that is Mountain Boss! I loved the Colorado setting and being at Black Mountain Lodge so much! The way this author paints such a vivid picture with her words is so beautiful. Also, I gotta say that I'm a big fan of flannel. I need my own Mountain Man! 😍

    With Mountain Boss, S.J. Tilly has created a truly addictive and breathtaking read that I didn't want to turn away from! Hands down one of my top reads of 2025! Just like all of her other books, Mountain Boss brought everything to this soul of mine. S.J. Tilly has done it once again! I am counting down the days until I can dive back into the Mountain Men world with book two, Mountain Daddy! 🧡⛰🪓🍪

    Mountain men are my jam now I guess. I mean grumpy, keep away from me, men and eyes only for you love, way is the only way I want love. Eeek Sterling and Courtney my gosh, talk about romance without many dialogues. It's just the feels and actions and this had me hook line and sinker. They story is told in such a fabulous way I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so good.

    True to her style, SJ has done it again. The characters' outlines are great, you can understand where they come from and relate to some of the so human feelings they experience. And of course the ❤️ and the many 🔥🌶 scenes keep it up. And some funny thoughs Sterling has with himself and Courtney's "self talks" so much entertaining. Loved it, can't wait to read the next.

    Such an amazing tale, with all the Tilly charm we have come to love. The humour, the way she can bring tears to my eyes with how deeply I feel for the characters. And the spice scenes are out of this world. Sterling is absolutely delicious and it was a pleasure reading about him. But Courtney was all of us she’s unsure, and just trying to survive. She knows she will endure because that’s what she’s always done. That resonated with me I wanted so much to take away the struggle for her. It was an exceptional book and I cannot wait for the next one in the series.
