I have been Aleatha'd! There are no plans on returning from it either. This book was such a light and fun read. The storyline was perfect. The writing was so good that I read this in one sitting. Aleatha Romig has a writing style that sucks you in the book, making you feel like you are in it. You feel the characters' emotions and can relate to them that you feel like you know them. The attention to detail and back stories were just the right amount. Justin and Devan are so sweet together. I love how in this small town romance, there was no second or third act breakup. There was just the right amount of spice. This book will definitely leave you smiling and turning the pages because you need to l know what happens next.

    These Lighter Ones by Aleatha are different than her usual fare in that they are no angst, sweet, and romantic. They are great beach reads. This one is my favorite about Devon coming back home after college to teach and falling for her brother's best friend, Justin. Justin farms next door to their farm and always considered her a pesky little kid.

    When he comes across her at a party, she is hidden in a hoodie and he has no idea who she is. They share one kiss that blows both their minds. Devon knows who he is but Justin is left bewildered as she dashes off like Cinderella, keeping her sneakers on but falling in the mud.

    When they see each other again, Justin is shocked to realize who his BK (Best Kiss) was! They kiss again and realize the magic of that night was real and have to figure out how to handle it. They have the age gap and her brother Ricky to deal with. Justin is just the very sweetest guy and these two are perfect together. I flew through this book because I didn't want to put it down!

    She is ten years younger whee brother and Justin so she was 8 when they left for college and would have been 12 when they came back. Here she is 22 back in town to take a new job and they connect in the most unusual of ways and then RE-CONNECT in a really cute way lol

    I love how they took their time getting to know each other and seeing if they could make a go of things before talking to her brother but didn’t hide the relationship too long either.

    I love how he was such a sweetheart with her!

    Justin Sheers who had no idea who he kissed that One Night but boy did he want to find out who she was. She said she was just visiting Riverbend, so all he had to do was look for her right?
