- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2023This book is very well written. I didn’t feel like it’s an rpg game as much as it is a choose your own adventure type of a book. I would recommend anyone trying to get kids into the hobby to start here.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2023I like them as solo and for inspiration. These are with their own system but it’s a great introduction to D&D theatre 🎭
I finally took a couple pictures for example reads. Notice the scan to take u to the website for the narrative and sound scapes.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2023I picked this up because I'm trying to get 4 kids under 13 interested in something more than just video games. The oldest is in a D&D group at school, but the younger kids are struggling to pick it up so I wanted to give this a try. After a couple of hours with it, I still don't understand how you progress from one part of the plot to the next, or how to use the map pieces. The audio segments are cool, but I personally would have preferred just a downloadable zip that I could put on my laptop instead of having to manage them with QR codes on my phone. A lot of people give this high ratings so I'm going to revisit it to see if i can get into the flow, but for something I was hoping would be "easier than D&D" I feel like it's too much of a learning curve, even for an experienced GM.

5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging, entertaining and rewarding!
Another amazing game from the Story Master's Tales series. I play this with my teenage college classes to develop teamwork, reading, creativity and speaking and listening. They love it! We look forward to every new update and release that's announced! I really recommend this game!
NB: (Also good at home with friends and a bottle of wine)
