A born-and-bred Jersey Girl with Brooklyn roots, I write erotic romance with BDSM themes in all genres, though primarily historical. My books are filled with Vikings and Knights and Warriors and the women feisty enough to stand up to and beside them. A lifelong fan of all things romance, I began writing stories in grammar school, and somehow they were always a love story, whether I intended it or not. I completed my first full-length novel in my freshman year of high school (and should have taken my English teacher's advice and tried to publish it back then). I've since spent many years honing my craft and my books can be found at all major retailers. On the rare occasions I'm not taking advantage of that valuable free time by writing, you can catch me poking around in my other favorite twisted historical worlds of Sleepy Hollow, Reign and the History Channel's Vikings. I'm also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Highlander, Charmed, and DragonBall Z! Yeah, a strange fandom medley, but each one features some of the sexiest villains ever. Did I mention I love villains? And of course, my beloved NY Rangers possess a huge piece of my heart!

A born-and-bred Jersey Girl with Brooklyn roots, I share my life with my very own Alpha Male and two amazing children. I write super steamy romance in all genres, though primarily historical. My books are filled with Vikings and Knights and Warriors and the women feisty enough to stand up to and beside them. I have been an author of romance fiction for over 25 years, with fourteen books published and counting. My books tend to run along the lines of the old-fashioned "Bodice Rippers," with hot, sexy and emotional characters and situations that skate the edge of modern sensibilities.

My influences come from many places – from the pop-culture side that include a mix of actual history and fiction, such as Vikings, Sleepy Hollow, Highlander, and the like. I have also been heavily inspired by other alternate worlds, such as Harry Potter, Dragonball Z and Charmed. But most of all, my inspiration arose from my love of historical romance (begun more years ago than I care to admit!) written by so many authors that there isn't enough time to name them all – we'll be here for weeks!

    It took me a few chapters to realize Thora as Kori's daughter but once I did I loved the story even more. Completely in character she still defies what has been blessed to her. First being saved from filthy men by Ari, he proves at every turn that he is honorable even though he does not tell Thora who he really is and how their paths have crossed by the gods. The intimacy shared, well submitted to then thoroughly enjoyed was well written and not just distastefully thrown in your face, was magical. Leading all the way to the end, which I'm not telling, the intensity of events leading you every step to the final climatic judgment left me with a feeling fighting for love and truth are always worth the pain of the journey. Loved this storytelling that started with Kori and Geira ending with Thora and Ari! Just wished there could be more stories among this clan!

    First off, I love all of Gianna Simone's books, but I think I may love this one just a teeny tiny bit more. Steady paced page-turner with a deep emotional side is how I would describe Norseman’s Deception. I’m not one to give away the whole story or revel too many details. I leave that to the reader to discover the plot twist and turns for themselves. Keeping that truth in mind, this story is about the journey of Ari and Thora. Both are on the run, and on their way to “The Thing” but for very different reasons. Set in the days of Vikings I felt like I was on the journey with them every step of the way. The worlds in which Ms. Simone creates her stories are always rich and full. This one is no exception. I could almost smell the earthen floor of their dwellings.
    Once again the author has captured the right amount of sexy lust vs. endearing love to keep her readers turning the pages until the end.
    I enjoyed this book so much I can’t wait for the next one. Maybe something with pirates *wink, wink*?

    Yes, its ok. Fair story and interesting characters. While i like sex in any story--it spices it up--i think there should have been more emphasis on the story. Instead, there is too much concentration on a continual sex romp through 90% of the book. It's ALL they are doing. His original mission, the reason he shows up in the book in the first place, seemed lost ...... Would I read it again. ? No.

    Great Historical Read! This is the second in the Norsemen Sagas book, however it can be read as a stand-alone. Thora runs away from her home fearing her father will force her into an arranged marriage. She has her two wolves with her that she has raised as pups. When outlaws corner her and wound one of her wolves Ari comes to her rescue. Who is he and can Thora trust him? Fast paced and steamy read. I was hooked from beginning to end, the chemistry between Ari and Thora is hot! Loved it!
