    Jessie Clarke has gone missing. She was supposed to be meeting a blind date. Unfortunately, she met a sadistic killer instead. After her disappearance the police partner with a powerful clairvoyant, Amanda Kaidy, in the hopes of finding her alive. The police also discover this has happened before, going back decades. Can they connect the years, find the killer and rescue the girl, before it's too late?

    This story was a little hard for me to follow. I really enjoyed the basis of the story though and that's what kept me reading. The story is suspenseful, shocking, gruesome and yet I couldn't stop reading it. I really enjoyed the story despite the macabre subject matter. I am looking forward to more from this author.

    Two years this book sat on my shelf. I hesitated to read it because I saw somewhere it was a sequel to the author's first book. And it kind of is, but it's a complete stand alone story with just a few mentions of things that happened in the previous book.
    Most of the chapters are short which made it a really fast paced story. There's brutal imagery, but nothing overly gory if that makes sense. There's a little bit of the supernatural to the story, but it's not the main focus, more of an enhancement to a good old fashioned serial killer story. Really enjoyed it and now I have to read the previous book.

    I loved this book. Second in the series.
    The fact it’s set in the town I live gives it a familiarity.
    Good story and plot with some suspense.
    Enjoy reading this author.
