Naughty Elf: Mistletoe: M/M Mpreg Christmas Romance Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 211 ratings

Christmas Elves might be adorable decorations, but Ryan’s is that and so much more.

When my husband died, leaving me to raise our beautiful daughter alone, I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but for some reason Christmas is especially difficult. I want to bring her all the Christmas magic wrapped in holiday joy, and I usually manage to do a decent job. But when this year starts off with a concussion thanks to someone hurling an elf statue at me, I’m not so sure I’ll pull it off.

The weird thing is, I'm drawn to it. Instead of tossing it like I should, I decide to keep it. Never in a million years do I expect to find a gorgeous omega sitting in the same exact spot hours later, complete with pointy ears and the same outfit as the concussion-giving decoration!

I must’ve hit my head harder than I thought because as he explains to me that Santa sent him here as punishment, it makes sense and I let him stay. Little do I know, our time together is slipping away as quickly as my feelings for him grow.

Naughty Elf: Mistletoe is a sweet with knotty heat MM mpreg Christmas romance featuring a widowed alpha moose shifter who is also a single father to a third grader, an easily distracted elf, friends-with-knotty-benefits that turns into more, and Santa doing what Santa does—delivering the best Christmas presents ever, true love, fated mates, and adorable babies.

***Santa’s Naughty Elves brings you a new series of Christmas magic, fated mates, and adorable babies from some of your favorite mpreg authors. Be sure to grab them all and see what knotty fun Santa has brought good alphas and omegas this holiday season.

This was a sweet story about an elf who needs a new job! Santa sends him to the human realm as a figurine, and then he meets his mate and his mate’s daughter. They are an adorable family, and I really enjoyed them and their neighbors, and their HEA, too!

This is my favorite in the series so far. I like the pacing of the story. It wasn't rushed or dragged out. I even like that they didn't immediately fall in love. This was cute and funny and worth reading!

Miz is a sweet elf who has lots of problems.
He's easily distracted, falls behind on his work, and constantly causes potential catastrophes.
His particular Santa gives him a year outside of the North Pole to find his mate, or something drastic will happen.
He gets left with moose shifter Ryan and his sweet daughter.
They're grieving the loss of husband/father John.
As soon as they meet, Miz knows they're fated mates, but Ryan is still too deep in his grief to recognize it, so Miz keeps quiet.
Ryan realizes Miz needs to work, and he needs childcare for his daughter.
Miz is amazing with her, so they agree to the arrangement.
As Miz begins caring for her, they slowly get to know one another.
Friendship slowly evolves into something more.
They begin dating, and Miz realizes he has a knack for storytelling and decides to start writing stories.
He also recognizes that he wasn't happy at the North Pole.
There's also a surprise pregnancy, and everyone is happy.
A wedding follows, and Miz discovers that Santa had a secret agenda for sending out in the world.

Oh my gosh this was too sweet. Poor Mistletoe/Miz gets easily distracted and after making one too many mistakes, Santa sends him away as an elf figurine to learn to be a better elf. Moose shifter Ryan is a single dad to the adorable Ellie. It's been a couple years since his husband passed away and he's still not sure if he is ready to move on. But being beaned in the head with a random elf figurine is the catalyst he needs to open his heart again. I loved Ellie's imagination and that Miz jumped right in to play with her. He even created his own stories to entertain her. Ryan is still hesitant despite his growing attraction to Miz. I liked how he took his time to make sure he knew what he wanted before starting a relationship with Miz. There were a lot of healing moments for Ryan and Ellie. This was a wonderful addition to this multi-author series.

A lot of us feel different and out a synch in our lives. Miz felt it too. Sometimes it takes someone on the outside to help us see what we need. Thanks to Santa, that happened. Loved the story, the characters and the ending! 5 candy canes!!

Edie Monte's contribution to Santa's Naughty Elf Mates is sweet. And a little bit sad. Miz is an accident prone elf who doesn't really fit in with the other elves. He doesn't love his workshop job and after one too many mishaps, Santa 30 fires him. He sends Miz to Duluth, to the home of his mate. A moose shifter mate, Ryan, who is still mourning the loss of his human omega whom he lost to cancer three years earlier. Ryan's job stresses him out and keeps him away from his seven year old daughter, Ellie, who he worries that shell forget her other dad.
This is highly angsty for a Christmas story. Ryan doesn't realize that Miz is his fated mate and feels he's 'betraying' his husband with being attracted to Miz. Miz believes he's a failure after losing his home and job when Santa fired him. Ellie's emotions are all over the place turning on a dime from tears to smiles.
Miz and Ryan have good chemistry, working their steamy times around a seven year old. Very real life. Ellie is sweet and intelligent. The worldbuilding is a little slim. Midwife Dru is the only secondary that stands out.
A quick read. After the anxiety and sadness, the HEA is a relief.
I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.

    Ryan & Miz(Mistletoe)
I love a good Alpha/Omega story, but surprisingly that part of the MC characteristics didn't play out as much throughout the story as some. I really had trouble with the beginning of Miz's introduction. It just felt so undeserving for him to be treated that way. And even knowing the reasons later, it still made it a level of unnecessary cruelty. Miz is such a wonderful and sweet character. It was so wonderful to watch him open up and feel the love around him. He inspired so many instant friendships, even beyond just his little home with Ryan & Ellie.

I enjoyed watching Ryan really struggle to understand his moose/beast trying to tell him something important. It made it all the more fun when the truth was revealed to him, and he realized what he had right in front of him. Ryan almost grew more in this story than Miz, in that he needed to let his heart love again and expand for Miz, and he needed to see how important his role is in Ellie's life as her loving father. He needed to learn this so that his life could be beautifully fulfilled by the events of the story later on.

Miz was given quite the task to overcome, and even Santa's original message was too vague for him to understand at first. I really loved getting to see him use his natural smarts and talent to be the perfect caregiver for Ellie (and Ryan). He seemed a bit shy in the North Pole, but his natural magnetism as an individual invited so much lovingly earned attention. This might be a "naughty" elf series, but I really wouldn't consider Miz all that naughty, at least when identified as "Santa's Naughty Elf Mate" in the series title. There's no question that some of the antics Miz & Ryan get up to are a little naughty. 🙃

I really loved Naughty Elf: Mistletoe! It was a great short and sweet Christmas story about grief, love, and personal redemption. It's the first of the Naughty Elf Mates I've read for this season, but I'm sure it won't be my last! ❤️

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
