Once I started reading Justin and Kyles story I couldn't put it down! I love how they went from stranger to insta-family. Kyle put up with an emotionally abusive alpha for too long and Justin jumped feet first to help Kyle and his kids. It was a quick paced story with a lot of Smut and Dirty talk and it's definitely an insta-love story with Alpha/Omega and heat!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book!

Justin is a new ESA out on his first assignment and he’s almost 21. Living his best life.

Kyle is 26 and has seen a lot of life. He has an alpha hole of an ex and 3 kids under the age of 5. All he wants is a stress free heat with no chance of another pregnancy.

When his ex starts causing trouble, and with post heat hormones running wild, these two make some life altering decisions.

There were so many wonderful things about this story what I like the most is reading about someone that falls in love with someone that already has children, and is not afraid to embrace that situation and love that person as well as their children as their own that’s really beautiful and it doesn’t happen very often the only thing that I would add to the story if I could add, anything would be just a little bit more detail, maybe an epilogue to show us kind of where they ended up in the future I know they spoke of the future a little bit in the story you’ll see if you read the story which I hope you do but it would have been nice to know where they are five years from now something like that because it was such a beautiful story. ❤️❤️

I really enjoy reading this Omegaverse series. Low angst, cute couple, steamy, passionate sex and some even cuter kids. Justin was just what Kyle needed, not only for his heat, but for his life.
Justin proved to be the right alpha in every way, even though Kyle has his initial doubts. His compassion and concern were part of his makeup that couldn't deny Kyle anything, even if it totally changed and uprooted his life. My only complaint was that I wanted more.

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed Kyle and Justin's story.

Justin as an emotional support alpha on his first real call gets more than he expected with Kyle and his three kids. The connection between the characters seemed so natural even though they had to jump the gun. I was definitely in their corner.

I'll definitely be reading the other books in the series.

This was another good addition to this series, I have enjoyed all of them including this one! The characters were great, I adored the interactions between Justin and the kids. Those moments were so adorable.

The reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because this one didn't seem as in depth as the previous ones have been. Yes, things have progressed fast in all of these books but I felt like things were rushed in this one. But! Merry knows how to write characters that you can't help but cheer for.

I was hoping that things would get better for Kyle, it's so sad all of the things that we went through. I'm glad he found someone that treats him and his kids right. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming holiday one! I hope that there are arcs available for it.

Overall I really recommend reading this, it is a standalone. I would suggest that you read this whole series though cause it's so good!

If ever I need cheering up, this series is what I read. This story is wonderful. Yes, of course there are some difficult moments, but that’s to be expected, and everything gets sorted out. The heat session between Justin and Kyle was great and then of course there’s all the ramifications…. This story is different to others in the series because of the different circumstances of both men - one with kids, the other so young. Really sweet to see Justin step up as an alpha. I remember him in ESA class from the first in the series.

In this one, young and new ESA for Bangers and Mash - Justin - is on his first unsupervised call and walks into the complete chaos of finding older omega Kyle balancing three children.
He's a single father juggling so much responsibility and has an arrogant alpha ex who thinks he owns his heat, getting him pregnant and leaving him to it.
Which is why this time it's an ESA.
Surprisingly Justin adapts quickly with the kids who their Granny Nancy takes off to look after.
It isn't long before the heat starts, sparks fly, and Justin is enamored of the whole family.
This one was great, especially as the exploration of single parent families and the law is valid in real life.
Also Justin is incredibly caring and the way everything seems to go out of control is hilarious in retrospect.
A big hug of a book.
