As a footballer, my first touch of the ball was key. Control, timing, dexterity and skill were all needed to ensure I scored.

I figured it wouldn't be dissimilar in a relationship, only even though I was one of Manchester Athletic's star players, I didn't actually know for sure.

I'd never had a girlfriend.

I trained, I joked with my teammates, I helped my mum out with my cousins who she was bringing up. I was studying for a degree, even though it was going to take me years to get it. I hung around at Kitty's café.

The coffee was good, but coffee wasn't my thing.

    Omg. The spice in this short novela!! Annie!!! I have loved the three prior books in this series. This one is short, but the heat is there. I do wish Nick & Kit had a more developed book, like a couple chapters. But I loved the tie in with the next one. I can’t wait for more of this series.

    This is Nick and Kitty’s short love story. I remember he’s a sweet guy, one of the younger players in the team. She’s the owner of the cafe where they all visit, hang out and eat their nutritionist-approved foods. They’ve been friends for a long time until one day things change with a friends-with-benefits arrangement. Wow! It’s awesome. I wish it had been a full-length book only to get to know Kitty better because she is feisty and fun! Loved it!!

    I read Target Man first and saw the outskirts of Nicky and Kitty, but going and reading their story was so fun and hot. Their story was easy to read and was well written for being a novella.

    While I think this book could be read as a standalone, I do find the story to be much stronger coming off of Target Man
