Publisher Description
A badass single mom …
Being a single mom is tough. It’s even tougher when there’s a nasty prophecy floating around about your kid being a purported abomination fated to destroy the human race.
With the supernatural world on the hunt for her only child, Avery sees no alternative but to adopt an offensive, preemptive approach: Hunt the hunters and take them out first.
An immortal Casanova …
Centuries old and still living his life on the edge like the formidable werelock and self-assured player he’s always been, Alcaeus long ago dismissed the notion he’d ever find his true mate.
He never expected to fall for the mother of the well-prophesied Rogue werelock he's been hunting.
With the fate of humankind hanging in the balance and the supernatural war of the century underway, cultures and parenting styles will clash.
Loyalties will be tested. Long-held ties will sever; packs will divide.
And a cocky playboy will need to dig deeper than the easy charm that carried him through four centuries to prove that sometimes an absence of light is only the void between beings who are destined to collide.
CONTENT: 100k word, full-length novel. HEA with NO cheating. Although this is book #4 in the Werelock Evolution series timeline, it was written as a STANDALONE, so it is not necessary to have read the trilogy that precedes No Light. This book contains violence, foul language, adult content, and a lot of over-the-top werelock characters. If such material offends you, please do not read.

No Light
Even though my favorite characters are showcased in Books 5 & 6, I still loved this book. Frankly, it’s hard not to love any book by this author due to her vivid and fascinating writing.
With the extreme characters and vivid personalities it’s easy to become completely engrossed in this werelock story.
No Light is book 4, I’m captivated with this series and I have yet to read the first three books. As a reader you can read these books out of order and still very much enjoy them. You are able to get to know the characters through their conversations. You find out their mates, packs and the thing that makes each character tick. The author created a fascinating werelock world.
I love strong female characters and Hettie Ivers excels at writing them. Actually, Ivers just simply excels at writing. Even in dramatic and emotional settings, the author is able to add a bit of humor without minimizing or turning the characters into caricatures.
This series is not your run of the mill characters meet have hot sex and live happily ever after. I find it completely fascinating when a writer creates something so unusal and divergent. Sometimes I just stopped reading and thought about the coversation the character had and wondered what kind of person could come up with this? Ha! This series is brilliant and I’ve truly become a HUGE fan of Ivers. FIVE STARS
