Dear reader,

My debut novel Dream Die Repeat, has fulfilled a lifetime ambition of publishing a fantasy novel. After 38 years in the financial industry, I took early retirement in 2019. Enrolling on a creative writing course with the Open University, I had a fantastic response to my submitted work.

I was also project managing the renovation of our beautiful 18th century cottage in a quaint village in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the inspiration for this novel. I was intrigued by the previous occupants of the cottage, as the walls were stripped to the Yorkshire stone, I found evidence of Victorian and Georgian dwellers. Carved initials above the fireplace and outside by the kitchen door were also discovered. Who lived here?

I live in Leicestershire, but my heart is in North Yorkshire. I enjoy joining the revellers at the bi-annual Whitby Goth Festival, the Ghost Walks around historical Whitby, and the numerous myths, legends, supernatural and witch stories from this gothic town. I have also been to Pendle and the National Trust Workhouse in Southwell for interesting research.

Book 2 Not Forever Dead has just been published (May 2023) and continues Ellie's magical journey, and I am hoping that book 3 in the series Where Time Goes will be published towards the end of 2023.     I loved the continuation of Ellie’s story. I love the magical elements and the suspense throughout the story. Couldn’t wait to order the 3rd book in the series to find out what happens next! Love the depth of all the characters!

    Could not put this down. After the 1st book, was so eager to find out what happened to Ellie and oh my gosh, did not disappoint. Finger gripping most of the way through. Did not sleep until i'd finished it. Roll on to book 3 and Thank you Jules for another fantastic book to thoroughly enjoy.
