⭐️ - 4 🌶 - 1 For those who are fans of Elsie Silvers Chestnut Springs series and the TV show Yellowstone, look no further! Emma Creed is a new to me, but a definite click to buy author for all her other books. This book had me in a chokehold. Garrett had me in puddles. I could not get enough of these two and their denial for each other along with the country side elements, mystery, questionable actions, and more. The Carson Brothers don't mess around.

    Emma Creed can write a killer suspense romance. Her Dirty Souls series, flawed but captivating, is proof of that.
    The Corrupt Cowboys is off to a great start. There’s more characters and unknown back story than we know what to do with at this point, but EC surely has a great game plan ahead. And while things are hot hot hot between Maisie and Garrett, this isn’t even a slow burn - we’re still rubbing sticks on a rock to make smoke. EC better make up for this in book 2.

    OMG Emma Creed has seriously stepped up her game with this New Series. I absolutely love her Dirty Souls MC series but this Corrupt Cowboys series is my new Obsession for 2023. I’m the hugest fan of the hit tv show Yellowstone and I’d have to say this book seriously had those vibes. Off Limits most definitely topped it. I could not put this book down.

    This is the beginning of Garrett and Maisie’s story and man was it rough, intense, and absolutely phenomenal. There wasn’t much spice but the chemistry and connection between these two was off the charts hot. Maisie’s mom is a gold digger and has just married Garrett’s father which makes Maisie forbidden and Off Limits. No matter how much they push and pull each other they can’t deny their attraction and though they want each other they both have obligations, Garrett has his Family’s Ranch and a Power Struggle he’s dealing with and Maisie has her college plans she can’t give up, though she would if he asked her to stay.

    This story will pull at your heartstrings and parts will positively gut you. These two will have you swooning and wishing they’d just give in and give it a shot. Garrett is a definite OTT possessive and protective alpha male, while Maisie is your fierce, strong, sassy and feisty independent woman. It ends on a sad note but also one that has Garrett full of determination. I seriously can’t wait to see these two get things right in book two No Limits. This is a 100% must read and I highly recommend it.

    The entire story sucked me in. I loved that Massie was a bratty 19 year old city girl having to move out to a farm because her mom found another husband. She found a sort of family among these cursed brothers. I raged so much during this book as Massie and Garret did their relationship "dance" and the elilogue should have been crinimal 😭 Gggaaaaaahh BRB grabbing the second book.

    I just know this entire series is going to be fire 🔥 the brothers all have their own complicated love life and the rest of the story of the ranch, the drama, its going to be good lol trust me

    My review is for the first two books of the series that’s based mainly on Maisie and Garrett. In the first book, Off Limits, there is pretty much zero romance. Like zilch. I am all for a well written slow burn but the burning was non existent. The romance does pick up in No Limits so it did get better. But these two books desperately needed an editor. There were so many glaringly obvious mistakes that I am surprised made it to the final cut. And it’s not because the author is in UK? either. These were true mistakes.

    All in all, the stories were good. And I want to see what happens with Garrett’s brothers, Cole and Wade. I hope I can find the time soon. 4 Stars for both books.

    I absolutely adore Emma and her Dirty Souls so it's taken me a while to start this series as I didn't wanna feel less for these guys but those Carson brothers didn't let me down at all lol
    Garratt, Wade and Cole are all brothers who have a struggling relationship with their dad, but when he brings a new wife and step daughter into the mix, things don't get any better for sure!
    Maisie and Garratt have sparks flying all over the place from day one, despite the age gap.
    Garratt can't bring himself to hold Maisie back from her dreams so instead breaks both their hearts... but will he be able to continue that streak even years down the line?
