E.M. Shue is an Alaskan award-winning romance author. She writes in many different sub-genres but always features badass heroines in gritty situations. As the mother to three grown daughters and two granddaughters she wants readers to be able to see that tough girls can have happy endings too. She is married to the love of her life of over twenty-five years who she married within months of starting to date, instalove is real.

She published her first book in 2017 after having a dream that later became the Beverley Award winning, Sniper’s Kiss. Since her debut, she has gone on to win this award three more times with different books and has published over fifty titles.

    Erika, a tattoo artist, goes to Las Vegas for a tattoo expo and is somewhat rescued by Grayson, the casino owner, when someone skips ahead of her at the registration desk for the hotel. As the story progresses he keeps on spying, she hates that he’s lying, and it may all blow up causing her to go flying. Vegas Jackpot is a deliciously detailed romantic suspense book that follows more of the residents of Eastport, Rhode Island. E.M. Shue introduced the reader to most of these characters in Doctor Trouble, part of the Doctors of Eastport General multi-author series. I was so excited to see that Erika was able to get her own story, now I can only hope that there will be more coming from this group.

    What a fast burn book! Erika went to a tattoo convention in Vegas. Grayson is the owner of the hotel it’s being held at. When he lays eyes on Erika for the first time he knows she’s the one. Will it be easy to persuade her to be with him? Their chemistry from the beginning is electric, steamy, and off the charts. One thing leads to another and well wait til you see what happens. It was very touch and go when a certain incident with Grayson’s babuska has Erika running home and wanting nothing to do with Grayson. He tries and tries to get her back. She definitely doesn’t budge. When something happens to Erika, Grayson is right there for her. Will things change between the two when a certain something comes out? You won’t want to put this book down. You will want to keep reading.

    What a fantastic read! Vegas Jackpot is part of the Hot Vegas Nights Series and is Grayson and Erika’s story. Erika, a tattoo artist, travels to Vegas for a tattoo convention and it’s here she meets Grayson, the owner of the hotel the convention is being held at. I loved the immediate connection between Grayson and Erika and from the beginning the chemistry between these two is off the charts intense. Absolutely loved every minute of this book and highly recommend.
