Eugenia Chu is an attorney, turned stay-at-home mom, turned award-winning and best-selling author.  She is a first generation Chinese-American citizen and lives on a magical beach in Miami with her husband and son, Brandon, who is the inspiration for her stories.  She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, yoga and drinking too much coffee. She has been a presenter at numerous schools, libraries and book festivals.

When Brandon was very little, the author couldn’t find children’s storybooks to read to him which touched upon Chinese culture and which included some Chinese (Mandarin) words to teach and/or reinforce his Chinese vocabulary, so she started writing her own.

Kim lives in Nebraska with her husband of thirty-seven years, two precious pooches, a litter box-trained bunny, and a duck that quacks her up. She is a mom of two and grandma to four amazing grandchildren she adores. Besides writing, Kim loves to volunteer, camp, travel, and get creative with arts and crafts.

Marcela Brué-Lotz is a bilingual children’s book author and illustrator. A mom and former elementary Computer Studies teacher, Marcela enjoys working with children and making learning fun and engaging. She writes light-hearted educational stories that contain a family influence and teach important life lessons. Her stories can be found in both English and Spanish. Born in Argentina and raised in Canada, Marcela is fluent in both languages.

She currently lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, their two children and their playful little dog, Melody. Her family is the inspiration for many of her stories.

Tasche Laine is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in journalism, teaching, and book editing. Her body of work includes CLOSURE and CHAMELEON, both recipients of book awards. She has also ventured into the young adult/teen mystery genre with her captivating series, CHRONICLES OF V.

Reaching even younger readers, Tasche has collaborated with her husband, Peter Valdez, and together they co-write a children’s book series, Lil Peter—teaching core values with a heartfelt message in each book.
