A dart on a map.

That’s how I ended up in Boston in a bar drinking away my problems. The main one being my crazy ex. Men were the devil and I didn’t need them in my life.

Then I heard him speak and suddenly all rational thought went out the window. Before I knew what I was doing, we were back in Jack’s hotel room and I was convinced one night couldn’t hurt.

    Wow, it was hard to believe it was just one weekend, but it was amazing! I really enjoy those quick love stories that are full of feelings. This one is just right – it's short and has all the exciting things you expect from Elizabella, including some mystery. Shannon and Jake have such great chemistry; they’re a fantastic match!     One of the many stand alone books in the multi author series – One Weekend. I have found some new to me authors, and if you have not read Ms. Baker, give her a try and get to know her BlackGuard Security team.

    A spot chosen by a throw of a dart, running from trouble, Shannon meets Jack in a hotel bar. Sparks fly and he is pulled into her trouble. Being a former special forces, with a brother in BlackGuard, he has the protective instincts and resources to keep her safe.

    For a novella, the story is well rounded, with suspense, mystery, drama, danger, steam, and romance. I wish the story were longer, but a great author introduction.

    Oh wow, just one weekend but what a wonderful weekend, full of everything. I love a good insta love story with lots of passion and love. This short story is so perfect, a quick read with everything you know Elizabella will deliver including the mystery. Love the chemistry between Shannon and Jake. They are perfect together, the best combo. Highly recommend.

    Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Although this is a novella, it still packed a punch with the suspense and steam. The first meet between Jack and Shannon was sassy and they definitely had a spark that grew to a deeper connection as Jack's protective instincts are triggered when he realises Shannon is in danger. The fast paced story kept me glued right up to the end with a very sweet HEA and satisfying conclusion!

    This is a wonderfully fast paced novella. It’s a quick and easy read. It’s a perfect start to the next new Blackguard team. I loved Shannon’s spunk and Jack’s alpha attitude.     This is a very fast paced exciting story. The chemistry between Jack and Shannon is off the charts hot! I loved their back and forth conversations so much.

    Shannon’s ex boyfriend is filthy rich and can buy off anyone he wants but he couldn’t;t buy Shannon. He doesn’t like it but he wants her back!

    This was a quick read and made me very happy. I loved this story!
