Slab Steele and the Outer Rim Job (Worlds of Craterball Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 5 ratings

Slab Steele’s life has literally run into a brick wall.

Fresh off his big showing in the Crater Bowl, career flare up Slab Steele once again finds himself lost in space—though this time he isn’t alone. Down on his luck and unsure of his future, Slab makes a pilgrimage to the birthplace of craterball, hoping to find some direction by reliving the memory of the last trip he took with his grandfather.

At the Rotundadome on Vesta, Slab inadvertently uncovers a clue to his past—and accidentally finds a new calling. But just as he begins to feel at home with the Mud Dawgs of Solar Central Lagrange Space University, an unexpected tragedy strikes, forcing him to throw it all away to save the one he loves. With the help of a man he thought he would never meet, Slab tackles his biggest challenge yet: begging an old enemy for a job.

And not just any job, an
Outer Rim Job.

Grab a seat on the
Nimrod and buckle up for the ride as Slab and friends dive headfirst into their messiest situation yet: a risky act of outercourse that just might lead Slab to another taste of the goal hole.

Featuring another nefarious villain that talks funny, a sprinkle of thinly veiled pop-culture references, and a hearty dose of puns so terrible they would make your dead dad groan, Slab Steele and the Outer Rim Job is the perfect read for anyone who was able to tolerate the first one.

I found the story quite refreshing for a SiFi read. Lots of humor and twists to the story, I just couldn't put it down😄!
