Lyle Nicholson writes fast paced detective fiction with a twist, and has been a contributor of freelance articles for several newspapers and magazines in Canada.

In his former life, he was a sales agent calling on oil and gas companies from the far north of Alaska's Arctic to Houston and Aberdeen in Scotland. After years of being on the road, he retired to write down the stories bouncing around in his head for years.

Now, he lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada with his lovely wife and enjoys writing detective fiction novels with a twist. He's happy he's off the road and following his passion.

    The author squeezes a great deal of plot into a short story! The characters in particular are complex and interesting - not something that I would think is possible in a work this short. A fun read that piques my curiosity about the main characters and how they evolve in other works by this author.

    If this is part of a series then I am not going to continue reading this one. Too short and not really inviting for more. Just short and to the point. Great second chance book.

    Fantastic storyline. Troy’s journey of discovery around the streets of Anchorage, Alaska had me hooked from the very first page. Pressure comes at him from many directions but what will he finally decide to do with his life? I really enjoyed this book.
