About the author

Julie Ryan was born in a small mining village in South Yorkshire. Not venturing too far from home, she studied French Language and Literature at Hull University, where she also trained as a teacher. Then the wanderlust kicked in and she lived and worked in France, Poland, Thailand and Greece. This broadening of the mind has had an enormous impact on her writing. She now lives in rural Gloucestershire with her husband, son and dippy cat with half a tail. She is a bookaholic with a one-click addiction.
Her Greek Island Mystery series includes 'Jenna's Journey', 'Sophia's Secret' and 'Pandora's Prophecy.' 'Callie's Christmas Countdown', a chick-lit humourous romance, is a new departure for her. Her latest book, Finding Rose, is a contemporary romance with a strong historical link to both the Tudor Court and the battlefields of the Somme.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2016Good characters, good story. I'm now reading my second of the series. If I had known how much I would like these books, I would have read them in order, but I'm enjoying my second just as much as the first.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2016This was a perfect vacation trilogy. The suspense was thrilling, keeping the reader trying to foretell what was going to happen next. I enjoyed the challenge of keeping up.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2015Pandora's Prophecy is a romantic mystery set on a Greek Island. The book opens with an introduction to Pandora, a child who discovers she has the gift of prophecy, she can read minds and see auras.
Next we meet several characters who will all meet on the Greek Island. Lisa and Mark are setting off on a family holiday. Ruth and her friend Suzie are about to share a holiday too. Vicky is seeking answers after an argument with her mother. They all stay at a hotel run by Jenna and Nikos.
Pandora's brother Dimitri is an author and he's on the island finishing his latest book. But when bodies start turning up in a copy cat style to one of his books, the police are stretched whilst racing to find the killer.
Fans of Julie Ryan's writing will be pleased to see characters and settings from previous work return to this idyllic Island.
This review is based on a free copy of the book given to me from the author via Brook Cottage Books.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2015I received a copy of this book through Brook Cottage Books in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book in Julie Ryan’s Greek Island Mystery series.
Lisa, Mark, Ruth and Vicky have nothing in common except they’re staying at the same hotel. Before the end of the story, they all have an encounter with Pandora, sister of the local celebrity author, who has the ability to see the future. Add a killer to the mix and you have the recipe for an un-putdownable story.
I loved the way Julie brought each character to life and her descriptions of the scenery. After reading Pandora’s Prophecy, I’m anxious to read the first two books in the series – Jenna’s Journey and Sophia’s Secret.

Couldn't wait to read this book, the third by Julie Ryan in Her Greek series and was not disappointed without a doubt. She has a charming, delightful and magical way of writing and keeping you mesmerised in her books. I really loved how characters from her two previous books came into this one. I cannot wait now for JULIES next book, and hope won't be long. Thank you Julie Ryan for your wonderful work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read
Pandora’s prophecy is firstly an intriguing title and certainly enticed me to buy and be absorbed into the cleverly woven plot. I have read Julie’s previous 2 books and they just get better and better.
